An excellent club. Superp value for money. Goes as straight as most drivers but man is it long. I am a junior golfer and even on a casual swing it goes over 200 yards. It makes such a nice sound when you hit the ball, and even when you scuff it.

Customer Service

I have not used the service yet but I trust Callaway.

When I first got this driver I loved it. Its very long but has little margin for error. Its very easy to hook or pull the ball with this driver, but if you hit that sweet spot, man she's gone. I think you kind of have to sacrafice control for distance. But all in all I like it alot.

Customer Service

No problems

I was using a Great Big Bertha II driver and just could not get used to the 380cc head. I decided to give the smaller Hawkeye a chance. What a difference! Longer and more accurate. The feel is much more solid as well.

Customer Service

Callaway is always great

I have read most of the reviews on this driver and concluded that you're either going to love it or hate it. Personally, I love this driver. I've used several drivers over the years and this truely is one of the best I've ever picked up. Before the Calloway Hawkeye VFT, I was hitting the Calloway Steelhead and found that to be a very hitter friendly driver. I've now had the Hawkeye VFT driver for two years and I have found it to be just as easy to hit and man is it long. From time to time, I'll head into my local golf store and try some of the new drivers out on the market. Personally, I have not yet found a driver that feels as comfortable. This club truely is a gem that's going to stay in my golf bag for a long time. I would recommend this club to anyone thinking of making a change. It may not be the club for everyone, but then again you just may fall in love with it to.

Customer Service

I have delt with Calloway's customer service on several occasions and they are the best in the business. Either by e-mail or by phone, they are attentive and responsive. I could'nt be happier with the service up until now.

Very long club. Very difficult to control. I've had my club for about 2 years now. Hit it straight less than half the time. Ball will fly 280 on a casual swing, but the 1/2deg closed face has a tendency to either hook or push the ball. Great for going long off the tee, but buy this club and say bye to your FNR stat. If you want to land the ball on that flat spot on the fairway, pick up a Titliest.

I played the Mizuno T-zoid before getting my VFT. When hitting the ball good I out drive my friends' Cobra 430 - this is a real rocket off the tee. All non sweet spot hits seem to go wide off the mark though. Seems to be the proce to pay with titanium drivers. I really recommend this club!

Ive recently been hitting irons off the tee only reaching at best around 200yards. im 15yo and normally shoot in the high 90's. I recently purchased the Hawkeye VFT and hitting constantly 240-250 off the tee. After hitting slices off the tee the first round ive really made the club work for me now hitting it straight. The last to games ive played ive hit a 92 and a 93 which is about 8 strokes under my handicap. The VFT is really forgiving even with a stiff shaft. Hitting badly off centre will only cause the ball to fly low and straight losing around 50yards. This club has made a great difference to my game and would highly recomend it to anyone!

Model Reviewed: Hawkeye VFT 9 reg. shaft

A solid club. It will not make you flawless off the tee, but once you get used to the weight and shaft, it's a money club. I think I needed a stiffer shaft instead of regular, but my swing style compensates for it (I have an extremely fast wrist roll on my release). Played this past monday and hit 13 out of 14 fairways. Amazing huh. Avg. distance 270, max 310. DISCLAIMER! I played with a original hawkeye 9 deg. firm for 2 years and hit it relatively straight. Those of you who have played that club know that hooking can become a problem. The VFT does not have that issue. What used to be a 97% draw became a 75% straight or very very slight fade. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to those with previous callaway drivers, IF NOT try a different brand.

This is a great club i used to drive extremely inconsitantly launching worm burners down the fairway every second shot getting the occasional 200yrders, now since i got my hawkeye vft Ive been hitting 250s frequently and lauching the occasional 300s. This is a great club that is forgiving.
