I bought it secod hand off a guy who hated it, hense the price. It took me a while to get used to but it was worth the wait. I hit the ball a mile anyway, but the thing that impressed me most was the ability to keep control using the 7.5 degree. I rugularly split the fairway at 300+ yards, the longwood shaft that was fitted also helps with stability through impact.

What an incredible club! Sets up beautifully, makes a wonderful sound on solid contact, and sends the ball into orbit. I've also have a number of older warbirds and, they too, are solid, solid clubs. The new VFT is a work of art smashes the ball as well. I'm usually pretty happy with drives my 270-290 yd. drives with a slight draw. Clearly a superior product.

Customer Service

EXCELLENT. I had a crack in the shaft of an older BBB and they replaced it free of charge AND paid for ALL shipping costs. I'm a supporter for life!

good club at first until you grow stronger and better... i cannot hit anything but high hooks with this club... fifty yard hooks... i can hit every other club in my bag dead straight except this... it is also really expensive.. i got it used for 200 dollars and it stinks... the draw bias makes it closed at adress and makes me hook it even more... it's also really hard o hit pure off the ground becasue it has such a big head... get an orlimar trimetal plus... 90 bucks brand new... this clunky, ugly head has cost me too many balls OB left... end of story... i'm through with callaway woods.

For the price that these clubs can be found at these days, you can''t pass up the GBB. get properly fitted for the right shaft, and you should be able to get into one of these for under $200. take the $200 you saved on not buying that new TM, Ping, Callaway, etc... and get yourself some lessons. this will be the best investment in your golf game for the whole year. ...it don''t matter how big that clubhead is, if you can''t swing it right. you can read all the other reviews here, but these clubs are truely a 5 star value.

Hard for me to hit consistently. Actually I consistently push 30 degrees right with a my normal swing that I use for my long irons. I'll occasionally push-slice also. Trajectory is too high for me. Maybe it's my swing. Or is it the shaft. It can't be my swing.

On a good hit, I can make it go 215-225 on the range. BUT that's only happened 4 or 5 times. The rest go about 180, shorter than my 4-iron.

Sounds nice when you make contact with the sweet spot. I'm going to change the shaft to the firm flex and hopefully that'll keep me from ballooning and pushing right.

Excellent forgivness and distance with the correct shaft. After 2 years replaced with Graffalloy Prolite BT with considerable increase in distance and accuracy. Can now find at good prices.

I suffered from the high fading trajectory until I put a Grafalloy 3.5s shaft in. Now, I can turn it over low and long, and the ball runs. Also, easy to powerfade off the big toe. No wonder this has become the benchmark.

This club is great the right size head not to big not too small just right. Ver forgiving but also very rewarding for well hit shots. Easy to work the ball.
