Great Big Bertha
The Great Big Bertha is a nice club that if you get a hold of will go a long way. But, if you have something wrong weather it be your swing of tee height the ball will go nowhere. Similar Products Used: None |

Like the head and design, but the shaft was totally disappointing. You would think for $300 you'd be able to get a stronger shaft. Hitting a 9 degree with original strong flex (98 model), was like hitting a 5 wood. Good club, but if you are a strong swinger, count on an extra $75 or so to put in a decent shaft. As for distance and accuracy, didn't hit it any farther, and not much straighter than my Taylor made burner with S300 shaft ($99). Similar Products Used: None |

I think this driver is the best there is because of its accuracy, the distance you can get out of it is amazing an if you can get for a good price I'd get it if I were you. Great club!!!!! Similar Products Used: None |

Great Big Bertha/7,5 degr.
I´ve played golf for 10 years and I´ve earlier desperately searched for the ultimate driver. Until I found it in 1996, when I tested (and bought) the Callaway Great Big Bertha driver. I play a 7,5 degr. driver with a ""strong"" shaft. The clubhead suites me outstanding, but the shaft was not too good. This year, I put in a Graffaloy Pro Lite S (3,5 T.) and I´m now very pleased (straighter and longer). So go on and buy a GBB before it´s to late (they are not made anymore , I´ve heard). 3-wood
Last November I acquired my husband's old Callaway Big Bertha three wood - I use it as my driver (I'm pretty good with accuracy, and working on distance now) and really like it. I've tried some of the real big drivers, and found I really like the smaller three wood. We also bought me the Steelhead Callaway fairway woods (#5 and #7). I love them! They are so much easier to hit, and give me more accuracy than my old woods (especially for beginners like me). Similar Products Used: None |

Driver, 9 degress, shaft: firm
When I bought this club 2 years ago, I could not hit a driver to save my life. If nothing else, this club gave me the confidence to start hitting driver more often, increasing distance, and reducing my scores from high to mid 90s to low 80s, high 70s. It would be crazy to give the club all of the credit (maybe it was all the practice), but I never feel comfortable hitting any other driver (and I have plenty of them). The club is pretty forgiving - I know that I can keep it in play - even with a mis-hit, so that helps a lot psychologically. Comparatively speaking, the price is pretty reasonable - not sure if that has more to do with Callaway lowering their price or the rest of the market increasing theirs. Similar Products Used: None |
