Great sweetspot and gets my shots in air to prevent my slice when I swing to kill the ball. I have some difficulty feeling where the head is at the top because the club is so light. I add weight to it. |

I agree with the other reviewer that this club makes a tremendous "klank" on contact. I played with this club all summer and fall, and I just didn't get comfortable with it. I always found myself going back to my old driver since it was much more forgiving for my swing. I think that I am going to trade this in on something else, since I could never get comfortable with this club. Customer Service none Similar Products Used: None |

I use this club more than my driver(Callaway Big Bertha 9 degrees firm). I have all the confidence in the world that i'll hit it straight and far(265 yards avg.) My driver gives me 15 more yards but not nearly as straight. I am in the woods or rough ALOT. I dropped 10 strokes off of my handicap since i have been using it(4 months and going). Very light club - better for players with a slow/smooth swing tempo. Excellent forgiveness on off-center hits. Tends to hit a rather high trajectory given the loft BUT better players should have no trouble hitting this club off the fairway. Good balance of distance/forgiveness. Similar Products Used: None |

9 degree w/ stiff shaft
Played practice round with demo, and hit all but one fairway. The club is very accurate, and distance was better than my average. I used a 9 degree loft with a stiff shaft. I wish I could hit one of those 6.5 degree clubs. I could add 15 yds to my tee shot. Similar Products Used: Have tried the Taylor Made woods and the Titleist, and felt the Callaway was the best. |

For about 6 months now I have been playing with a friend who has Great Big Bertha woods (Driver and 4 Wood), and lately I thought that I would try them out. They are the greatest woods that I have ever hit. Extremely long and straight and consistently at the pin. With all of the new Berthas on the market, they are probably a lot cheaper right now. I'd run out and get some NOW! Similar Products Used: Callaway putters are okay. Nice feel, but not as consistent as other putters out there. |

When I initially bought the club, I was pleased with the distance I was getting from the club. However, I was not pleased with the control. I switched the shaft to the Grafalloy Prolite 3.5+ stiff. My control of the club increased greatly. I would recommend going with another shaft other than the Callaway factory shaft. Customer Service Two weeks after I bought the club, the hosel pulled off the shaft. I brought it back to Powerline Golf and it took them over a month to get it back to me. Never go to Powerline Golf. They have the crappiest service in my opinion. I had to call Callaway constantly and have them exert pressure on Powerline. I don't like Callaway's new policy of not replacing a defective club with a new one. Similar Products Used: None |

Upgraded from Big Bertha to GBB (8.5 - firm shaft) about 2 years ago. As my game was improving and my swing speed increased I started to spray it more if I tried to really launch it. Also changed backswing profile to full shoulder turn but straight left arm which results in driver not getting back to parrallel (ala Tiger type swing). The shaft must be loaded and unloaded quicker with this swing profile. Changed to Graffaloy ProLite 35+ stiff shaft. With the Graffaloy you HAVE to swing hard (100+) in order to load the shaft, but when you catch one they really go. If you're a long smooth swinger in the 90+ speed range the Callaway firm shaft will probably work fine. If you want to dial it up to 100+ you'll need something stiffer particularly if you have shorther, faster swing profile described above. I have always liked the GBB, it's a good club. long and straight, BUT get the right shaft for your swing. Am considering switching to Ping Tisi, McHenry Metals, or Liquid Metal this year. They are all supposed to be incredibly long. Similar Products Used: Big Bertha, demoed Taylor Ti Bubble when I bought GBB. |

This driver is very long off the tee, geared more towards the lower handicapper. Slightly off-center hits are forgiven, but too far off center and you'll be in trouble. Similar Products Used: None |
