Calloway FT-i 9.5*
Very new to the game,(3 weeks) but totally addicted. I go to the driving range 4-5 times a week and play 9 or 18 holes the other 2 days. I ask a lot of questions where ever I'm at because I want to learn as much as I can when I can. Off the tee I only hit 150-160 yards on the fly, if I really get into one, 180-190 on the fly. One of the local pro's suggested I use this club for consistency, and I can't thank him enough. Consistent 150-175, but STRAIGHT, way easier to control than the taylormade r580 10.5 my friend gave me. I will work my way up to the r580. I actually hit further with the r580, but I don't have the control. For a beginner, this club rules, and I shot 109 today with it, which I was told was pretty good for only 3 weeks. This thing is loud on impact, kind of cool... Customer Service No need yet... Similar Products Used: Taylormade r580 10.5, Big Bertha Hawkeye 11.0 |

Callaway FT-9 Tour Driver
The Callaway FT-9 Tour driver has a ton of pop off the face. I switch from the Titleist 905r to the FT-9 at the beginning of the season. (6 handicap) The FT-9 added 10 yards to my drive. The only draw back to this driver is DURABILITY!! I have had 2 of these drivers break in the past 5 months. Driver #1- Broke during my 3rd round playing the club. Driver #2: Broke 4 months later. Both drivers broke in the same place….on the bottom of the club where the carbon fiber meets the titanium. I love the driver and the Callaway brand....BUT....they need to work out the durability issue with this club. |

CALLAWAY FT-I LCG 9.5 DEGREE DRIVER OZIK STIFF
Absolutely brilliant, low penetrating ball flight, loads of distance and gun barrel straight ... once you get used to the set-up. I found that I needed to move the ball further back into my stance (around 4 iron point) and use a more upright swing to get the desired control - almost like swinging a gaint putter. The noise off the club face is a tad off-putting but the results silenced the on-lookers pretty quickly. On average I gained around 20 metres, but this was more due to the better flight than speed off the clubface. If you get the chance give one of these a go ... but note that it may take a couple of round before you get the feel of the club. Customer Service Purchased on Ebay for US$160 (mint second-hand), the same club in Australia would have cost me upwards of $700. Similar Products Used: Taylor-Made R7 - same sort of power off the club face but lost a lot of distance due to ballooning flight. |

Callaway FT-i Draw
Before I purchased this new Callaway product i was s inconsistant with a driver that I ended up not even bringing one to the course with me. I began using my 3 wood off the tee and although I could hit it well, it was no driver. A good friend of mine had recently won this club in a golf outing and said he didn;t need it. Well I figured it's a driver so how am I gonna use it. So i took it to the range and every shot was nearly perfect. So I bought the driver from my buddy and I'm 280 off the tee almost everytime. Callaway really did well this club. Similar Products Used: Nike Sumo Squared and Nike Sasquatch. Couldn't hit either of them and thought I was never gonna hit a straight drive. |

FT-i Tour 9.5
One of my clients is a Golf Pro Shop, and he recently had his Demo day where the Reps for all the golf companies show up. He said the highest reviews were for the FT-i series drivers. Today I had some free time and went down to GolfGalaxy to hit some used drivers in the driving range simulator. I tried out the FT-i 9.5 that they had, and wow! I hit about 30 balls, 27 of them were on the fairway and consistantly 250-260, had a couple in the 280's. I normally hit about 230-240, and rarely get 260 with most drivers. I have to say this driver lives up to the hype. Needless to say I bought it for 299.00 used. The Shaft on it I might change out, its a Prolauncher Blue Regular, I like Stiff better. Anyways I would recommend that you first give it a try out at a driving range, it works very well for me and can't wait to get on the course and play it. Great work Callaway. |

before I got this driver I consistantly sliced my drives. You can buy the club in 3 styles fade, straight, and draw. I got the club that was weighted to correct slices and now with this club I consistantly drive where I aim. The price is very high for a golf club but for me it is worth every penny. |

callaway ft-i tour 9.5
After seeing this driver early in the year and thinking it was to odd looking I tried it indoors at my local golf shop, thought it felt great and forgot all about it, I purchased a Tileist 907 D2 and thought all was well. After playing the Titleist for 3 months it developed a rattel in the head, I'm sure its just a piece of slag so nothin serious, but it annoyed me so I took out a ft-5 tour demo and fell in love with it, after much thought and talking to people I know I found out someone has the exact ft-5 I want and will sell it and the end of the season so I decided to try and find an ft-i instead, well am I ever glad I did. After getting it in the mail I quickly left work for 2 hours to go to the range, you cannot hit this driver anywhere but straight down the middle, even my bad swings when I hit the ball off the heel still went straight and I probably only lost a few yards, there was anouther man on the range watching me and he couldn't beleive how every drive was dead straight and seemed to be carrying forever. Don't get me wrong with every other driver I've ever played I hit a little cut shot, and if I really go after one it's a straight up slice. Not with this club though, I bought the tour 9.5 with the geafolly prolaunch stiff shaft, and WOW. I purchased it of ebay for 330.00 bucks, I thought for that price even if I dont like it I can more than likely sell it for what I paid, but that wont happen I won't seel it now. I am still gonna buy my freinds ft-5 and get my titleit fixed after the season is over. I probably have way to many drivers but after trying the callaway fusions there's no way I cant buy them both and use them for different rounds. I highly recomend this club if you have trouble controling where your tee shots go and wanna find the short grass. WAY TO GO CALLAWAY Customer Service Haven't delt with them with this club, however years ago I had a set of x-16 irons, and after noticing a dent in my 3 iron shaft I sent it away expecting to be charged for the repair. To my supprise they just fixed the club under warrenty. I also phoned callaway to see about getting a new shoulder strap for my staff bag because it is the old ft-3 strap and I wanted the new fusion strap, the operator told me they don't sell them however they would send me one out no cost as long as the order was placed by a retail store. No other golf company would ever think to do this, there customer service is second to none just like their product development. Again WAY TO GO CALLAWAY Similar Products Used: This year I've purchased the Taylormade superquad 9.5, thought I liked it unil I used it for a while and found it imposible to look at the clubhead when it's closed 2 degrees, also got the Titleist 907 D2, great driver, but you better not be off your game at all. I also have a Nike sasquatch tour 9.5, great driver. Nike ignite, as well another great product. Callaway great big bertha II, liked it but wanted something new |

Callaway FT-Tour
Best of all the square drivers. Typical Cal quality and service. About equal in distance to the hot FT5 and a little more control and accuracy. A slight fade bias in the Tour model and hard to draw but for the most part VERY long and straight. If money is no object, then this is the one for a better player. Hight hcps should opt for the slightly closed face regular model. Customer Service Callaway and Callaway Pre-Owned are both top notch! FT-i 9.5 Neutral
As with a lot of guys I can hit a long ball but have difficulty keeping it on the fairway. Last October, to improve consistency (at the expense of distance) I went back to my steel shafted Titleist 905T. I’ve recently tried a number of drivers and the local pro suggested I try the Callaway FT-I tour driver. I didn’t like the head shape but gave it a go. The first 15 balls went flew off the face straight down the fairway, 5 had a nice fade, after 50 more balls I was impressed. I tried hitting my poor shots but they didn’t seem to come. Needless to say I purchased the club. Customer Service Not Used Similar Products Used: Ping G5, TaylorMade 425 TP, Nike SUMO, 905T and 905R |
