Very solid feel and really inspires confidence at address. I tend to power draw with occassional hook and this club fixed that little problem for me. The ball comes off, goes a little to the right, and then gently comes back to and lands in the center. I hit 14 of 14 fairways with it my third round played!
Customer Service Great so far. (only from ordering) But as with any name brand club I am confident that if something goes wrong Callaway will have my back. Similar Products Used: Cleveland HiBore XLS, Taylormade R9, Cobra S2 |

Callay FT9 Tour Driver
I took a shot at guessing what would work for me without getting fitted, spin rate, etc. I chose the Tour 9.5* stiff. My driver swing speed is around 112 - 114. Man, did I guess right! This thing just wants to square up and go straight. But, I could hit a draw or cut when I wanted to also. Haven't bought a new driver since the Ping G2. I'm glad I decided to give Callaway a try. Piercing trajectory, jumps off the face, and accurate. Very happy with it. |

Driving the golf ball has always been the weak spot of my game - until now. Since buying the FT-9, I am flat-out spanking the ball and hitting more fairways than I ever thought I could. The slogan says something about hitting it over the trees - now I am the guy in the group who can actually do it! This driver has finally given me a real chance to improve my scores. Thank you Callaway! |

Most forgiving driver I have ever owned.Gave me 20 more yards off my drive. I heard complaints about the price but if you want quality you have to pay for it and Callaway is quality. |

Callaway FT9 tour 8.5 with stock zcom pro65 stiff
I needed a driver that would lower my ball trajectory. Since I was a fan of the Taylormade r7cgb max ages back, I decided to try the r9 on a fitting day my club had. Oh gosh it felt so good. The shaft in it was so soft yet very stable (fubuki 73 tp shaft). BUT I was losing quite a bit of distance. With my 909dcomp I could constantly drive 250yds carry but with the r9 on 235yds. So I decided to try the FT9 tour a few weeks later. OH MY GOD. This is THE LONGEST DRIVER I HAVE EVER HIT. This even beats the Ping drivers (famous for distance). The Rapture v2 can not come close. NOW with the FT9 tour in my bag I am constantly hitting 275yds carry. The Hyperbolic face and the fusion technology are really IMPRESSIVE. PS: I got a bargain, paid about 250usd for a new one. This is like 2/3 of r9tp. Customer Service None needed yet but have heard from other consumers that Callaway has great After Service. Never been a Callaway guy , having tried the original Big Bertha driver many moons ago and wasn't happy with it...Well Callway has come a longgggg way...A key I know was being fit on a launch monitor and getting the correct shaft also...So ended up with the FT-9 9.5 with a Mitsubishi Javlin stiff shaft...Love the mid flight and roll out...Also as with any 460cc sized headed driver, get some longer tees and hit the top quarter of the face...it'll GOOOOOOO noticeably on this model. Thanks for a great product Callaway! Customer Service n/a Similar Products Used: Titleist ,Ping |

Callaway FT 9 Driver 10 deg. stiff
Went to Golf Galaxy and tried out the Diablo edge , FT iQ and other drivers. FT 9 definately performed better for me according to their sim computer. My swingspeed increased over 10 mph with FT9. Callaway rep very good and pointed out the great, very light weight shaft. I traded in 2 Drivers, a TM R7 CGB max and a Mizuno MX 700. A $100 rebate along with the trade ins and it cost only $160!
Customer Service Callaway rep at Golf Galaxy very helpful and knowledgable. |

FT9 Tour neutral
I have the Imix Tour Neutral version. The sound is fantastic-- slightly muted due to the carbon crown, not too noisy nor an annoying metallic sound. No harshness at impact, just a soft and bouncy feel off the face which is very pleasing. The Tour version is 1 degree open faced, so slicers ought to stick to the Normal version (which sits 1 degree closed). Distance is slightly better than my previous 909d2 of the same loft. Very satisfied with this driver, considering purchasing the FT-iq as well. Customer Service Callaway is above average in the CS department. Similar Products Used: Bought over 15 drivers in the past 3-4 years. The 909d2 and Rapture V2 are my second and third choices. |
