Overall a very nice club. As long as anything else for me. I like the sound, more of a thwack than a high-pitched tink. I tend to hit a low draw, so I went with the Neutral weighting and 11* of loft. What I get is predominantly straight ballflight with a high, flat trajectory. Customer Service Haven't used, but I hear Callaway's is very good. Similar Products Used: Tried 'em all! |

I bought this driver, and have only used it a few times. this is a very forgiving stick. I like the weight, and the stiff shaft fits my fast club head speed. I lost 10-20 yards on my distance (maybe I'm still getting used to it), but it hits very straight. |

10 degrees, with draw bias, with Adilia NV Regular shaft, 55 Grams. Nice looking club, sets up well, however, results for me have been mixed. Fighting a power fade I thought the draw bias would help significantly; it did not. The ball did not draw very much and a great deal of distance was lost in arching fades. Overall, shorter than comparable drivers (particularly the G5) and Taylormade R5. I never got comfortable with this club. If you slice, this will not solve that problem. Hitting only 65% of faiways and being signficantly short on most holes if you are in the fairway will put pressures on the rest of your game. I lost 15 to 25 yards on my drives. I am now back to my stand-by Nicklaus driver in seach of the ultimate driver. Customer Service Not used Similar Products Used: Ping G5 (best of the super priced lot) Cleveland Hi-Bore (hi-hype) Taylormade R5 Draw Bias (very long) Mizuno MX 500 (also very long) |

Really nice club. Gives me confidence off any tee box. Added about 20 yards on average. Club is expensive $399 but I received a free FT 3 #wood on the spot. And local dealer accepted old Callaway clubs at Callaway published prices in trade. Can't beat that deal. Similar Products Used: demo'ed Taylor R7, Ping G5,liked FT 3 much more! |

I have now used this club for over a month and can honestly say I finally have a driver I have total confidence in. I am left handed and it is extremely difficult to find enough clubs to demo. I was custom fitted with callaway optifit system and with launch monitor the setup for me was 10 degree neutral with aldila stock stiff shaft. I also hit mizuno m500 and taylor made r7 in store but callaway was best. The club has unique sound like a baseball bat. I like it, some maynot. I have added distance but much more importantly, I am hitting many more fairways. It seems like you just aim and swing and the ball goes where you want more often than not. I used to hit a lot of 3 woods off the tee but no more. The optifit system gives numerous custom fitting options which is great. I love it , give it a try Customer Service callaway is great. broke two steel shafts on my irons and they replaced the entire set for free. Callaway Fusion FT-3 Draw driver
I took the latest MacTec MacGregor, the Taylormade 460, Fusion FT-3, and Cobra 454 to the range at my local Golfsmith. MacTec did nothing better than my old driver (a MacGregor). Taylormade was nothing special, felt dead. Cobra and Callaway had real spring off the face; Callaway seemed straighter back-to-back. This was the longest driver I have ever hit, easily 25yards longer than my old club and the Cobra, and consistently straight enough I bought it on the spot. Haven't played a round with it yet (just bought it yesterday!), but on the range it was very easy to hit confidently. $400 a bit steep, but I got a 90 day 90% refund policy. If it doesn't work out, I get most of the money back. |

Callaway FT-3 Fusion Draw Weighted 9 degree.
Just the facts: 1)I Picked up 10 yards in distance. 2)This is not the longest driver I have hit but it is by far the straightest. 3)I bought the stock 55 gram stiff shaft and it is plenty (swing speed 102). 4)My misses have gone from bananas to pushes. 5) It is more than I wanted to spend but after 10 rounds I would do it again and wish I would have 10 drivers ago. 6)It is a much better driver than the Callaway X series drivers but the X series fairway woods cannot be beat. 7)This is the first driver that I can hit off the first box feeling I am going to hit the fairway (or real close)in maybe forever. Hopefully I am not just in a Driver Honeymoon period! Demo this club and then check e-Bay they are about half price there.
