FT-3 Fusion 9.5" Neutral
Good club. Overall feel is awesome. Sound takes some getting used to, but when you are hitting it squarely it sounds great. Distance is almost unmatched. Not the automatic club as some people believe. Vastly better than the previous Fusion driver. Customer Service Have heard good things. FT-3 tour Neutral 9.5*
I have tried just about all the new drivers. The TM R5tp, the r7tp, the Cally 454, Nike 460, and the Titliest 905's. And I can easily say I like the FT-3 better. It has the NVS 65 stiff in it. At first, I thought the NVS stiff would be too whippy, as it is softer tipped than the NV. But in this head, it plays nicley. I have not overpowered it yet. Took me about a round to get used to it, but since then, I have loved it. A great combination of forgivness and distance. Some people on the internet have claimed it has a weird sound. I actually like it. It is a very solid sounding muted "thwack". The ballflight is very nice. Not real high, but not low either. Perfect for me. This is one driver that I have not had a problem hooking. I run into that with the TM drivers, but the Cally 454 and the FT-3 are nice. If not playing the FT-3, I would play the 454. But I like the feel and distance of the FT3 better. Great stick! Hope it stays in the bag for awhile. If you have a problem going right, or slicing, I would go with the regular model, not the tour. Customer Service Heard good things, but not had to use yet. Similar Products Used: R5tp, r7tp, cally 454, 905s, 905t, Nike 460. |

Got this driver this week and so far have played 36 holes and spent a few hours in the range. First 18 holes took some getting used to. Changing from 975j so have to tee it up way higher. During the second 18 holes I played, and in the range since it has been awesome. Im playing the stock NVS 65g shaft and the feel is very good. Solid and informative. Long club too and in my opinion it looks fantastic. Highly recommended. Customer Service No experience. Similar Products Used: Callaway Steelhead, Titleist 975d, 975J VS. |

6 Rounds and 5 hours of range time logged thus far. Yesterday I hit every fairway but one (and that was about 6 feet off). I like the sound. Not a loud metallic crack like we've all gotten used to, but still a very clear audible feedback. That said, it is astonishingly forgiving and long. I've never been a long hitter. (7 iron 150) It's seems to correct both draw and fade. All drivers are great when the hot spot is hit square, but better misses are what this game is all about. I've always said, don't try to buy your game and I stand by it. It's not the rifle, it's the rifleman. But this is more than a slight improvement in technology. I'm getting away with tee shot murder. Sell a kidney if you must, but buy this driver! Customer Service None needed thus far, but Callaway has always been great and fast and you get a person on the phone who's actually interested in helping you. Purchased this new driver on the 1st August. 10 degree, stiff shaft with a draw bias. The 460cc head sits nicely behind the ball and does not look cumbersome. The driver is very forgiving but the draw bias gives only a small draw on well hit shots. For me the driver is very straight. In terms of distance the club is surprisingly long and on good hits 15 yards longer than my previous driver. Would recommend this to anyone though don't expect to turn a slice into a draw. The driver cost me £249 which in the U.K. is pretty reasonable. Similar Products Used: Taylormade R7 Quad |
