I have played this driver for three solid seasons now and can't take it out of my bag. Over the past two years I have gone to several demo days and hit drivers from Callaway, Taylor Made, Titleist,Cobra,Ping,Mizuno,Tour Edge, and Cleveland. Not a single driver has caught my attention for more than a swing or two. However, I've begun to experiment with the new Callaway FT-I Tour Low CG 9.5*. It looks great, feels even better and the results are nothing short of amazing. Customer Service Customer Service is top notch. I cracked the composite sole on a tee shot, took it back to my local pro shop. They informed me that the model was being fazed out and it was no longer under warrenty. I insisted they call Callaway and ask them to replace the driver and the did so and had it back in 10 days. Not a shock to me, in my youth I worked in the golf business and always found Callaway to be the most customer focused of the major manufactures. I have been playing golf for over 20 years and this is without doubt the longest and straightet club I have ever hit! A good 10-15 yards longer than my Ping G2 and Big bertha 2. I have the draw bias, but it just goes dead straight and hangs in the air for ages....AWESOME!!! Customer Service Callaway are always top notch. will have to agree with the last few post this monster is seekie looong. does not ballon at all was very surprise in regards to that. have always had trouble hitting ball way to high with other drivers out there. as far as the sound of this beast I kinda like it, it grows on you especially when you get to your ball and you look back @ the tee. played the old 415 a couple of years back and have not tried Callaway drivers until now. |

After multiple driving range visit trying many different drivers - Ping G5, Callaway x460, Taylormade Superquad and the latest King Cobra - I decided on the FT-3 8.5 with the Aldila NV stiff shaft. I love this driver. Also tried the FT-5 and found it to be very similar to the FT-3. The sound is dampened, but I prefer it to the louder sounding drivers like the King Cobras. Can work the ball both ways, but wants to go straight. Forgiving. Awesome trajectory. Highly recommended. Can find a reasonable priced one on eBay or used at your local golf store - like Roger Dunn. |

This club performs as advertised. Forgiving and long. A bit longer then my previous two drivers, NVG and G2. Much more forgiving then the G2 and slightly more than the NVG.
Customer Service I've had to use their customer service in the past and it is top notch. Similar Products Used: Callaway, Ping, Mccgregor, Nickent, Titleist, Liquid Metal and a few others that have slipped my mind at this moment. |

Normally dont write reviews, but wanted to commnet on this driver, switched to this from the 905T which is a great club bu tlike most Titleists it isnt the most forgiving. This club is just as far as the Titleist if not further and provides great forgiveness. Poorly struck shots often end up in the fairway or in the first cut of rough. Perfect club for the mid to low handicapper who can strike the ball fairly well but still needs some forgiveness in the driver. I have the Aldila NV shaft, would highly recommend this combo for anyone looking for a nice penetrating ball flight. The slightly open face angle also allows you to play a slight draw or fade at will. Normally a Titleist loyalist but this may make me a Callaway convert, at least for the woods. This club will be in the bag for a long time to come, or until I demo the new FT-5... Customer Service not used Similar Products Used: Titleist 905T, Titleist 975D |

I have hit everthing on the market im always wanting the edge on the competion but this driver has changed all that. It is by far the best club in my bag. Its as long as any driver on the market , i can play the fade i like with a great ball flight my fade is as long as the draw i would play with the 905R it has a great sound and feel and i get a lot more roll. the model i play is the 9.5 fade with a nvs 65g stiff shaft |

Callaway Fusion FT-3 Tour Driver
I have a 21 handicap and I swear it will go down. Recently, I had been fitted for this club at a Callaway Golf Fitting center. After a series of poor shots with the regular edition, I was handed the FT-3 Fusion 8.5 degree, sitff aldila stock shaft club and looked at the face tape after the first shot. BOOM, Right smack in the middle. I tell you I've gained at least 20 yards with this club. I went from 270 off the tee to 290! Now all of my approaches into the green are wedges and short irons. Plus it's straight as an arrow. Customer Service Never needed but I hear good things Similar Products Used: Cleveland Launcher 460, Callaway X460 |
