After all the fuss made about this club, when I teed it up for the first time it had a lot to live up to! My previous 9 degree hawkeye driver had served me well. A good club but the promised extra length of the ERCII proved to much of a temptation. My ERCII is 9 degrees fitted with a pro force 75 extra stiff shaft. My first impressions were good. The one weakness with my driving was often a high trajectory which gave me little roll but straight away this driver lowered my trajectory. Although my drives pitch about the same distance the lower trajectory has given me a minimum extra 15-20 yards of roll. People say that you shouldnt try to swing the club to hard. But in my opinion if you put the club in the right positions with good timing then the balls going to fly whatever club youve got in your hands. This club is worth buying just for the joy of teeing it up nice and high and just booming it out of the middle.

Customer Service

I easily gained 40 yards and it sounds like a cannon. It just goes so far. Get a lower degree then your thinking about i'm 16 and i hit a 7.5 X flex sky high and 310. Worst part i gotta fina real driver for those matches that have PGA rules.

A little disappointed, i thought the 'spring effect' and deep face would make this club more forgiving but not to what i expected. This club is for people with a more precise and consistence swing...i like my 2 years old Hawkeye driver more, a more solid feel and actually, surprise, easier to hit even it is a 8.5*. Try to make sure you like it and suit your swing before you buy this one. Happy swinging.

Strange club, the majority of the time the drives simply fly off the face producing 300yard drives. However about one in every six drives an obscene duck hook is produced. I have never had this problem before. And am sure that the slightly closed face is to blame. Additionally I find it very difficult to shape the ball with this driver (compared with the Titleist 975D), luckily the natural shape is a high long draw which will do me just fine. Apart from this the club feels great at address and sound amazing. Some very reasonably priced examples in the emarket now.

I bought this club on a recommendation by a professional, Currently a 18 handicapper, I actually struggle with this club, I am certain that it is designed for someone who is say a sub 10 handicapper, My ERCII is fitted with a regular shaft and has 9.5 degrees of loft, I struggle to hit the ball over 200 yards which is suprising as I can hit my Callaway X-12 3 Iron further with more accuracy, I had a VFT driver before and to be honest wish I had kept it.

i have tryed many different drivers but nothing comes close to this truly great club, it was given to me by a Callaway Rep a year ago and it's stayed in my bag since. i had it fitted with a ultra stiff 6.5 rifle shaft cut to 44 inches and have been flushing it 330 yards stright down the middle every time. i bleave that this club has headed golf down a much more fun and friendly path. i urge you to go out and try one no matter what level of golf your at.

Bought the ERC at a local golf shop used. The distance is incredible and also very forgiving. I can hit a controlled fade or a long right to left draw. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO SAY THIS DRIVER HOOKS THE BALL TOO MUCH, you need to stop blaming it on the driver and get some lessons. obviously your using your arms and hand too mch and not your body and hips. I can intentionally hook or fade any driver or iron no matter what the shape or size of the club. I'am sure the PGA pro's agree with me on this point. The ERC II is an excellent driver for distannce, control and forgiveness. Personally, I bought the ERC because of the awesome "BONG" sound that it made at impact. It just sounds good to me. I have a 9 degree with a extra stiff shaft. Works great with my swing. You can really hit the ball long with this club.

Customer Service

No need. I install my own is shaft if it breaks.

Great looking club, however performance is a different story. Dead center hits did travel a good distance. I can't say they were much farther than the Titleist 975J I had before which was much more forgiving. The ERC II is not very forgiving to off-center hits. Be prepared for a major loss in distance. Also, this club has a closed club face which is good for slicers. However, if you hit it straight or a draw, expect to produce shots that hook a great deal. I must say, I was expecting a lot more from this club. I have recently traded it in for a Yonex Rekin.

A hot driver. I have a Callaway VFT 9 degree in my bag and just replaced it with an ERC. I'm launching drives close to 290 yards now. I saw the difference immediately.

Amazing club with mythical performance. I opened the headcover and heard: DING DING DING............DRIVING CLASS BEGINS!!! These were the best $300 I ever spend. This club devalues every golfcourse to a midget golf-course. I blasted 70% of my first driving-range bucket through the 340 yard-fence (the other 30% went over it). This incredible club is like the Jimmi'z under the bar's: expensive but the fun is priceless.
