Just bought this club from Ebay, 10-degree R-flex 65 graphite shaft, for $100 including shipping. Almost brand new, Very pleased with the purchase. Took it out to the range, made some adjustments, and the balls flew at least 5-10 yds longer than my ERC clone. Same trajectory as my old driver, but balls seem to hang in air a little bit longer. I hit R7 before and it did not do anything good for me. So I am please with price & performance. Will provide more feedback after I play a few rounds with it. (Honestly, if your swing is not good, then there is no clubs that can save your game. Last week I played with a guy who has a TaylorMade R7 and he hit the fairway only 20%)

Great club; I bought this used to replace my Wal-Mart special. It is easily about 20-25 yards longer and certainly worth money. It also makes a great sound when hit solidly. I actually bought it used for $75 but have seen it new for $150 which is still quite a deal.

Sweet driver. I was'nt sure how i would do with it due to it being only 360cc. Us young guys like hitting the huge heads. But it is much longer and suprisingly forgiving. Even though i had no trouble finding the sweet spot. Im a skinny 16 year old and the pro at the driving range was calling my shots "tiger long". I had no trouble getting 245- 280 yards of carry god knows how much roll because range is only 250 yards long. My previous drivers i would pop up and only hit it 200 yards at least. So if your looking to drive it as far as the pros give it a try.

Customer Service

Model Reviewed: Callaway Big Bertha 2004 9 degree firm stock shaft

Reviewer: shoots in the 90s weekend hacker for 8 years with occasional rounds in the 80s and 100s. Plays stiff flex on golf clubs. Hits drives 250-280 yards. Reviewed product: Callaway Big Bertha 2004, 9 degrees loft, stock firm flex shaft, stock Callaway grip Review: For those who have fallen in love with their original Great Big Bertha and refuse to part with it despite the advances of modern driver technology, this is the club that best approximates the look, feel, and sound of the original GBB, with the added new technology while it is true that the new big bertha 454 is of the same gray finish, sports the same feel, and makes the same sound, its huge size just doesn't quite approximate the old GBB. The BB2004 has a shallow face so from address it has the look of the old GBB. i've been using this club for 4 months now and i have nothing but praises for it when hit on the sweet spot the ball just flies off the face, and the club gives you the feeling of making a great shot. even off-center hits produce decent results. only a really awful swing produces awful results. the club provides good feedback, and you can work the ball as you like through 4 months of use the gray finish on top still looks like new (although i rarely, if at all, sky any shots). the silver finish on the bottom of the club scratches pretty bad though, unlike the old warbird soleplates that tolerate scratches and age very well overall a very good club made by callaway and definitely a keeper. it matches very well with my other callaway metal woods. the headcover included with the club is pretty nice as well and i would think would also age very well, like those old fluffy big bertha headcovers that still look good after many years

Customer Service

never had to use. i have several callaway metal woods dating back to the original great big bertha and they are all still in my bag

Im only 12 and im not the richest person out there so i can only afford what i got for christmas savings. It came down to the callaway big bertha 454 and the normal one. I hit both and with a smaller clubhead it was easier to swing and on the eyes i can easily hit 250 yards on the course. This sets me up for an easy second shot and usually a birdie putt.

I bought this club for $100 on Ebay and it has an Aldila NV-65 Stiff Shaft. I really like it...easy to hit. Good ball flight for me. Good head size at 360cc, not too big. Also, there's a good sound to it...doesn't sound piercing like the Cobra's I've hit before. The ball jumps off the club. I previously owned the Titleist 983k and I liked it but I struggled a bit with getting the ball in the air. And yes, I had the same shaft as what I have in the Callaway. The ball jumps off the face better than the Titleist. Overall, for the price I am very happy. I sold my used Titleist after I played a couple of rounds with this club. I would recommend it without hesitation.

Well I traded my Mizuno T-Zoid Blue Rage Driver in at my local Pro shop and decided on the 2004 Big Bertha Titanium. I got a great Deal picking it up new for 90 bucks with the trade. I was looking at this club for some time. I wanted the new 2005 Big Bertha Titanium 454 but refuse to pay 400 bucks. It has 9 degrees of loft and firm flex shaft. I took it to a local indoor range and my first swing with it was awesome. The ball took right off and made a sweet sound. The head sizes is perfect and the weight is nice. unbelievably I did not slice a ball which is not common with this kid. I love this club and cant wait for the spring!!!

This is a really nice driver. I picked it up at a bargain price of $110 at Callaway pre-owned. I have seen them new for $159. I got the 10 degree, regular flex stock shaft, although I'd like to try the firm flex. It's long, typically 20-40 yards longer than the Mizuno I had been using for a while. Nice look to it at set-up, 360 cc, so it's not quite as big as some of the monster sized drivers out there. But it looks easy to hit, and has a somewhat shallower face than some of the deep faced drivers you see. It sounds great when you hit it, solid, and the ball really takes off when you hit the sweet spot. Not too bad distance and good accuracy on off center hits also. Haven't hit a really bad shot with it yet and find myself in the fairway or just off most of the time. I pulled the ball a few times on some of my first few drives (with awesome distance), but I weakened my grip a little, started taking just a nice, easy swing, and the ball just takes off. It has really reduced my slice, with most drives now going straight or with a slight fade. Try this driver, you'll like it. I'll definitely be using it for a few years.

Customer Service

My first Callaway so I don't know. No problems with the club, came with a new headcover, grip and year warranty, and was in really good shape for a used club. Shipped the same day.

Great club, must be one of the best values out there right now. Paid C$250 new, club was $400 in May. I've hit the ERC Fusion, and can't tell the difference in distance or dispersal. This is easily the most forgiving driver I've ever hit. I know it's trendy to get a custom shaft, but I really like the stock RCH firm. Seems to be the right combo for me. I could always hit the ball a long way (about 275yd avg), but this club does a great job of keeping it in the short stuff, especially when compared to off-center shots with the Titleist 975LFE I was hitting earlier this year. I've actually been able to shape a few shots when called for, which is a first for me, too(I would suggest that there's a little draw bias in this club to start with). Just tonnes of confidence in the tee box, and we know what that translates to.
