I bought this club after breaking my Callaway Driver. I bought the Driver with the draw setting. My first round was a dissappointment with this driver. The reason for this I have found out in my last few rounds, you can not over swing this club, there is no reason for it. With my old driver it took everything I had to get the ball out to 275, I am a long hitter. With the Big Ben I am easily hitting the ball 275 to 300. Played a round Monday and had 4 drives of 290 to 300. I love this driver and has helped me hit more fairways. Thanks Callaway for this club.

This is my first year golfing. after learning the ropes, i can consistently drive BONE straight with this thing over 200 yards which in turn really helps my game. really easy to seize the fairways. this club is very forgiving and has a large effective sweet spot. the shaft alone is worth over 100 dollars. i really ilke the feel of it (stiff). at first i found the loud high pitched noise it made on impact annoying but i have actually come to like it. it's a way of giving you audio feedback on how well you made contact with the ball. the price is right on it too. you get as much club or more for much less than the over priced and over advertized drivers these days. its the perfect driver for beginners like me and lower handicappers. over all it's built very well and looks cool. i will have this thing for a very long time

I have found my driver..... The driver has always been the best club in my bag, just a question of hitting it longer (not a long hitter) and straighter.

I regularly have a fade, so to begin with I was not compensating for the straight hitting Hogan.... have figured it out and now no problems.

Other day I tagged one 290..... This can not be so I thought as I hit it 250 very seldom, but there I was 105-110 yards on a 400 yard hole. None of my playing partners were close so I will take it for a fact.

Such a great club, the first round I played a partner was using inferior equipment, I got so frustrated watching him, I handed him my driver and the results were immediate and I ordered him one too....

Some have commented on how they balloon or hit high drives.... I have not noticed, some are low, some are high, I don't play enough to be ultra consistant, but I do know I hit this really well.

Check Ebay, and pay the $80-$100 and see for yourself.

I thought there was nothing that was better then my Callaway driver...till I purchased my Big Ben C-S3 12* weather I swing easy or for the fences the accuracy and controlability is never an issue. My wife has recently picked up the game and she hits it a mile. I need to find her one. The best $100.00 bucks I ever spent.

My first round on it is coming up. I just bought it for 79.99 Cdn @ Golf Experts. I have a neutral 9.5 degree with a xstiff Aldilla nv70. In the practice area, I put a golf ball through the net and imbeaded it in the drywall. "SOLD" Now lets see how it performs on a real course. Im "stroked"

This driver has saved my long! I picked this up at golf galaxy for 100 bucks and it's worth 300 easy. I was a huge slicer and now with this driver (set with a draw bias) I've been hanging out on the left side of the fairway!

Oh the added distance is nice too

I just picked this driver up this year only paid $100 cnd, I went with the stiff shaft, and I am hitting the ball straight, I used to be a slicer with my driver, and now it is amazing, I step up and take a full hard swing and am hitting 265-280 dead straight, this club is going to really improve my game, I would recommend this driver to anyone, and might go buy another one and store it.

Long and straignt. I own many drivers most which i thought were good. The C-S3 eclipses all that have come before. Striaght out of the box 260 meters and in the middle of the fairway. I can now predict where the ball is going to land. I now have confidence to go for the greens on short par 4s. I am happy with my purchase,

I purchased this as a complement to my new Ben Hogan irons and as a replacement for my aging Nike Ti350 driver.

This is one of the longer steel-faced drivers I have hit (the 6/4 titanium construction applies to the driver body; the face is steel). As with all of my Hogans, the club feels well balanced and properly weighted. I have mine set up in the "neutral" weight position, which performs well and feels great. The weights in the rear of the club appear to be movable, but I haven't tried to change the weight setup.

This is also perhaps the most forgiving driver I have ever hit. The face is large and squared, and even my slight mis-hits stay true to the target line. The Aldila NV70 shaft launches the ball high and soft.

Moving from a titanium to steel driver has cost me about five yards off the tee, but I'll take five less yards and down the middle over long drives into the rough any day of the week.

Customer Service

Great; might have something to do with Callaway now owning Ben Hogan golf. My only complaint is the lackluster headcover. Mine looks nice, but never seems to fit quite right and doesn't provide any shaft protection.

Great deal - I got mine from tgw.com for only $99.

WOW!!! I have played two rounds with this club and I find it hard to miss hit it.

I previously used the titleist 975 and liked it a lot but there is no comparison.

I got mine at Edwin Watts for $99 the shaft alone is almost worth that.

The only complaint I can think off is that
Head Cover is hard to get back on. It looks good so oh well.
