Iam overwhelmed with the distance this club gives me. Iam driving 325-350 yard par 4's....not bad for a 62 year old man with advanced arthritis.

A very big club head that would boost your confidence upon address to the max. At address it really feel that you would never miss a hit. Upon hitting the sound is loud that would boost your ego.

Altought this club head is big, doesn't mean that hitting it at any part of the face would return you a good distance. I feel that for off centre hits, my distance suffers greatly. However, for centre hits, it seems to travel much longer then any of my drivers I had tried so far.

Control is something lacking in this driver. The face of this driver feels too "hot" for me to control or even feel the ball.

This driver is really good for learners. However, do note that prolong using of this club might reduce your ball hitting skill using a driver (thats what happen to me).

I bought a big bang 525 and it was heeps good. The first time I took it out it was not very good but when you play with it you get better with it. You need to tee your tees up really high or your balls will go no where. Try swing the club slow for most distance.

Service was fine.

Well, I started off with the Big Bang 525cc, and couldn't hit it to save my wife. I picked up a new 450cc head on Ebay and matched it with a 70 gram MCS79 "Ice Orange" shaft ($15, a steal, as good as a Graffaloy). The mix resulted in the best driver I have hit to date. VERY easy to make solid contact, and LONG. Much of the credit might go to the shaft, but who knows? This combo, for very little $$$ is SUPER!!

Price is in UK Pounds I had my original '525' brought back from the 'States by a friend. Specs were 9* on an Apache/MCC 45" PM-30+ shaft, CPM'd @ 262. It made the loudest clang we'd ever heard from a golf club. Guys at my club would take the rip out of me over the noise AND looks of the club. Calling it "a wok on a stick" and a "dustbin (trash can) on a stick". No big deal I was 'only' using it for a laugh and to rattle folks at my club. However after a couple of weeks a crack started to appear in the soleplate and slowly worked it's way into the face. No big deal, I email Steve Almo at Bang and explained what was happening. He told me if my ss was over 125 I shouldn't be using it. I found him to be an obnoxious A$$! Having sent emails back and forth I called the Bangs importers into the UK (Fusion Golf) and went down to their warehouse to have the head exchanged, there was a fault with the welds on early models and they were aware of it. What a great bunch of guys, they replaced the head AND refit it while I waited. We talked golf, laughed and joked drank soda and watched The Open on their tv. TOTAL QUALITY GUYS! Such a change from the dick at Bang! New head installed I hit the practice tee. What a failure! The loud crack of my old '525' had been replaced by a sound like the old Wilson Carbon Composite Killer Whale. It had lost 20yrds+ and was/is a total dud! Makes a good paper weight or shaving mirror. But not a lot else! Maybe I have the wrong shaft but I've had Proforce 65, Prolite 35+, HTD CB series in it as well as the Apache. It's just not that good a head.

Fusion Golf? See above. Really nice guys, very helpfull. They gave us a tour of their warehouse, workshop, fitting room etc. I can't speak highly enough of them. Bang Golf U.S.? I wouldn't waste breath on the guy. It's my opinion and I'm entitled to it!

Played the Titleist 975D wi/ EI-70 shaft seemed like forever, until I tried the Cobra SS370 Unlimited (Non-conforming in USGA Governed areas) Even with stock Aldila HM Tour shaft it's a great, long and accurate club but reshafted wi/ a Grafalloy Blue it's off this planet! They'll prise this out of my cold, dead hands! ;-) At least 'til 2008 LOL!

I've hit 'em all and none better than the Bang 525. I'm 66 years. Left the game 20 years ago as a scratch, came back 2 yrs. ago and play to a 10 hc. This is the best driver I've ever hit. Have a Harrison Pro 2.5 stiff shaft with a Boron tip. Can work the ball to a fade, but not a draw. Hit 95% high, booming straight drives off high tees. Most in 300 yard range. Very forgiving and has wonderful feel. A great driver.

Wow what distance 300 yards i think, only problem 200 forward 100 to the side. Worst club i have ever hit, feels like there is a sail on the shaft not a club head.Tryed it out from lacal golf store for 2 games and i swore at the thing every shot. I recommend not to buy this thing unless you're trying to loose a ton off balls and worsen your score.

Bang is not really available in South Africa. I saw it online and knew I just had to buy one, if it hits the way it looks it should hit a mile. Fedex dropped it off bout a week later and the club head really did look that good, I had it professionally shafted with a Harrison striper titanium shaft 46" , R/F flex. Finally out on the range all the smiles and excitement faded away shot after shot. Firstly, there is no or , just a horrible sound, like putting a coke tin on a broom stick and hitting it! Distance, uhm, what distance, the C.O.R on the face is probably round 0.01 , I hit my Mizuno 15 degree 3 wood further that I could hit any of 20 balls with this thing. On a plus side, the face is huge, and it does offer forgiveness as promised. What else can I say, anyone want to buy a big driver, mail me I've got one for sale.

This is one of the most frustrating clubs I have ever hit. If you do not hit it off really high tees than good luck hitting it at all. With the smaller tees you will either top it and the ball will go nowhere or you will slice/hook it terribly. The worst part of the entire club is that the head is so easy to chip/dent/scrach. The club has added 30-40 yards to my drives except for the fact that those 40 yards are in the woods. After only two trips to the driving range, there is a large scrach on the head and another dime size dent in the front of the head. It looks great coming out the package and I thought wow I should be able to hit this too the moon considering it is about the size of a basketball. It is very light but that is because it is the thinnest titanium ever and that is why it is so easy to dent. My swing speed is pretty fast about 100mph and this club is not for those of us that can swing that fast. It is for those with slower swing speeds. I thought that it was such a great deal to get a gigantic driver for only $133 but it would have just been better spent on lessons or a used club. Summary: For the price it is an ok driver, but if I had to do it again I would only pay about $85 for it. The material is supposed to be this great "SP700 Beta Titanium" but if after 2 trips to the driving range there is a large dent, there is something wrong with it. I would say it is a better show piece, "Hey Joe check out this bowling ball i put on the end of this shaft," rather than a quality club.
