This is one of the most frustrating clubs I have ever hit. If you do not hit it off really high tees than good luck hitting it at all. With the smaller tees you will either top it and the ball will go nowhere or you will slice/hook it terribly. The worst part of the entire club is that the head is so easy to chip/dent/scrach. The club has added 30-40 yards to my drives except for the fact that those 40 yards are in the woods. After only two trips to the driving range, there is a large scrach on the head and another dime size dent in the front of the head. It looks great coming out the package and I thought wow I should be able to hit this too the moon considering it is about the size of a basketball. It is very light but that is because it is the thinnest titanium ever and that is why it is so easy to dent. My swing speed is pretty fast about 100mph and this club is not for those of us that can swing that fast. It is for those with slower swing speeds. I thought that it was such a great deal to get a gigantic driver for only $133 but it would have just been better spent on lessons or a used club. Summary: For the price it is an ok driver, but if I had to do it again I would only pay about $85 for it. The material is supposed to be this great "SP700 Beta Titanium" but if after 2 trips to the driving range there is a large dent, there is something wrong with it. I would say it is a better show piece, "Hey Joe check out this bowling ball i put on the end of this shaft," rather than a quality club.

I bought this club brand new on EBay, without trying it before (for such a low price, this was worth the risk). I was able to specify which shaft, which loft, which length, which grip to be fitted for the same agreed price, on a specified enormous (525 cc)head. I was not expecting much, however what a surprise. This club is much more forgiving than my TM 580 ( a very good, long and forgiving club) which costed me more than 3 times as much, and the Bang 525 is not any shorter, in fact the Bang 525 is straighter, delivers a lower, more boring trajectory (with similar shaft - loft specs), at the end because of that it is definitively longer, and this only after one round and one hour on the range. It makes you wonder, most of us are buying hot , very well publicised Golf clubs, winners on any tour on the planet in the hands of the best (and well payed to play the clubs) players, and now and then most of the time by accident, we are lucky enough to put our hands on a cheap, unknown brand, which fits us better than gear costing us 3-4 times as much. That's the point, it fits us better, therefore it is better for us At the end of the day what counts is the pleasure we get from the game, the frequency with which we are called to the prize giving ceremoonies in our Club's competitions, not the fact that we are using the most "in", "hot" , "sexy" most expensive gear. 5 stars well deserved both for value and overall rating. In comparison, specially considering the value, the top brands should be struggling to reach 5 stars, at least this is my opinion

Customer Service

I got the club customised as I wanted it, with no extra cost and it was delivered fast as well

Use the long tees or you will be frustrated. With a long tee my average drive has increased from 195 to 220. I can hit further but the accuracy get very bad fast. Nothing worse than hitting 260 into the trees at the side of the fairway. Give it a little extra, not much, with a following wind, down hill or a hard flat fairway and you will hit near 300 yards with no problem. A friend has the 460 CC Big Bang and has been playing golf for years. We hit about the same distance and I have been playing for 1.5 years. I am 65 years young and so is he. Make sure you groove your stroke again at the driving range with long tees. It is very easy to hit long but wrong.

The Bang driver gives me back the yardage I lost over the past 10 years. Having just turned 65, I was looking for additional yardage as my handicap was steadily climbing. Two rounds and I adjusted to the original tendency to push the ball right. Love the sound, love the results. A regular partner said last round that he wasn't betting anymore unless I got rid of the driver. HAH! NO WAY. Poked one 330 yds last round. Last time I hit one that far was 40 years ago. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended.

This is the best driver I have ever made (this is about my 10 driver in 3 years). I allways change my driver about 2-3 times per year and this one as been in my bag for more than a year now. I used to drive about 210-220 yards. Now, I am in the 235-260 yards. My longest drive in my life was 270 yards. Well in only one game, I drived 270/270/290/325 yards with this one. I have to admit that I have build it on a 48 inches long shaft. Your looking for distance well don't look further, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!!!!! P.S. If you buy one like this, be prepare to hear lots of remarks of the tee like, "how can you miss, this THING is bigger than a shovel".

Customer Service

At golfoundry.com, they allways give great customer service.

I bought the 525 cc Big Big Bang with the regular shaft. At first I could hit nothing because the driving range did not have high plastic tees. I went to one that had the high tees and immediatley was hitting the fence on the bounce at 230 yards. I practiced until I gained confidence. Next I went for my first round of golf. The first drive was about 230 yards. The next hole I hit down hill with a slight tail wind 300 yards to the green and enjoyed my first eagle. The rest of the round I was able to hit between 230 and 290 depending on the wind and the slope. One round of golf convinced me that these types of clubs be around a long time.

Purchased via Internet via horsepowergolf.com. The club head is beta titanium 9 degree loft left hand, shaft Penley Ultra Light Graphite Stiff Flex. This club is a real weapon. I was driving my 11 degree Powerbilt Stainless steel driver 250-275 metres. When I eased into the first shot with this baby it cleared the trees at the back of the driving range. This club provides greater accuracy and extreme distance. Drives are now 285 to 315 metres. Yip this is a ball killer. The sound at impact is awesome. Great club, no need to look any further once you have one of these in your bag.

Customer Service

Fitting and speed of assembly by horsepowergolf - brilliant, quick and efficient. The custom fitting is of the highest quality.
