This club hits LONG drives. You do not have to kill the ball to get good distance. A medium trajectory off the tee allows for good roll on the fairway.Best driver I've ever had.

Customer Service

I bought this club directly from Adams Golf. I first tried the""FC"" model for two weeks, traded it for the ""N"" model. No questions asked.Great customer service.

Model Reviewed: ADAMS 818FC Titanium Driver 10.5 degree

I used to hit maybe 3 fairways per round with my Taylor Made TiBubble Driver (and I thought I loved it). The first round I played with my new Adams fade Control 10.5 degree Titanium Driver, I hit 12 fairways, and increased my distance by, I kid you not, 40 to 50 Yards. Not only did it straighten out my fade, but now I can work the ball into a slight draw, something I had never before been able to do. This driver is loooong and accurate, and my golfing partners cannot believe they are watching my drives go so straight and so long. I LOVE THIS DRIVER!!!!

Before purchasing the Adams FC Driver, I tried: Taylor Made Firesole, Callaway Hawkeye, Titleist 975D (very hard to hit for me). None of the above, were NEARLY as long or straight for me.

The bane of my golf existance has been my inability to hit anything other than a slice, I mean a huge, ugly, monster of a slice with my driver(s). That is up until now. I still have to employ a very srong grip but I can hit the ball straight and even DRAW THE BALL with the Adams FC+. I now look forward to be lying one where once I was lying two against most people. I have tried all the slice cures I could find but this is the one thing that has drastically helped.

I just purchased the FC driver. I had to get used to this club because it is so light that your hands tend to beat the club to the ball. Once I got used to the club I have easily gained an extra 20 to 40 yards on my drives. Even if you don't fade the ball, this club is great if you want to work the ball from right to left. I purchased the club at golfclubtrader.com for only 180.00 bucks. It was used, but played less then 4 rounds. When I received it I could not tell that it was used. I strongly suggest saving yourself the 100.00 bucks and get it at golfclubtrader.com.

Very good stick. Not quite as easy to hit as my previous driver, but unreal distance. At least a 30 yard gain.

It took me a few holes to get used to this driver, but once I did I started to feel its power. I have a consistent slice and this club did seem to counteract it quite a bit. It's great on wide open fairways and I'd say it does add at least 20-30 yards to my drive. I think it's fair to say that nothing cures a slice better than some lessons and due dilligence at the driving range but short of that this club seems to minimize its effects while maximizing distance.

After much hesitation I recently purchased an Adams Spin Control driver with 10.5 degree loft, in the FC+ model. (For people with a bad slice.) I wish I could say it cured my slice, but it didn't. Check your swing, grip, & stance, before you drop $300 for this club. It's good, but it is no magic ""cure all""
