I have been using an older stiff steel shafted Air Assault effectively for the last year. I hit that club well (average about 250-260), but not far. I would not give up the accuracy for a few more yards so I figured I would give the SC-N a chance as it is the titanium equivalent of the Assault. I paid 99 bucks and sent it to Adams to have the same steel shaft installed. I've only been to the range, but I have put every ball straight and passed the 275 on the fly more than a couple times. I have complete confidence in this club and I am sure that if the rest of my game comes around soon I may be in the 70s for the first time in my life. 300+ yard tough guy drives 40% of the time doesn't mean crap if you're in the woods or trouble 60% of the time. I love this line of clubs! 44" steel shaft..yeah! Customer Service less than a week to turn around club, very helpful Similar Products Used: Air Assault Driver, TL2 3 wood, TL strong 5, Taylor Made BB, Taylor Made TiBubble (whippy whimp shaft) |

I hit this club...and it sucked! I thought, "hey don't give up. Try it out on the course and give some more range time to the club." Well, that was about five weeks ago. I am a 6 handicap and I find this club to be horrible. I like the look of the club and even feel like I can nail it until I swing it. The club is WAY to light for me and I get no feel from the head. Anyway, try it for yourself. Some of my friends use this club and get some great use out of it. I, however, did not. It took maybe 10 swings to finally be able to hit the ball straight, but after that, it was a thing of beauty. The ball had a good trajectory, and seemed to just float in the air, travelling well past the 250 yard marker. This is a club that just takes a little time to learn to hit. If you heel it, it is not going to go anywhere due to the head design. But hit this thing near the middle of the club face, and you are in for a treat! Similar Products Used: Most Titanium Drivers |

Since this is my first "real" driver (previously I used an 11 degree fairway wood), it took a little time to get used to this big stick. Now it goes fairly long and rather straight (although I still produce an occational slice), especially taking my golfing abilities into consideration). The best thing is that I am now very confident at the tee, even when an OB is lurking on the right side of the fairway. When I really hit the ball "right in the ass" (as we say in Danish) it goes around 250 yards which is very satisfactory for me. This stick is a keeper. Customer Service I forgot to get a headcover for the stick at the store (I bought it on a business trip to Seattle). When I returned to Denmark I mailed Adams and told about the lacking headcover. Adams then told their danish distributor to send me a headcover right away! That's pretty good service. Similar Products Used: Callaway, Orlimar |

Initially I purchased the Tight Lies II driver. It was OK but had very little feel and I couldn't get over the smaller head size. I love Adams equipment so I tried the SC II. I really like it. The stiff shaft is stable and I can stay behind the ball very well withou worrying that it is going to collapse on me. I was only using my 3 wood most of the time. I am thankful for the extra distance and can strike the ball around 250-275 with a club head speed of around 105-110 mph Similar Products Used: Titlist 975D, Taylor Made Firesole, Great Big Bertha |

Adams SC driver N 9'
i am a straight hitter as i've alway been. i tried a demo club from the local pro shop, and fell in love with it. it's been in my bag ever since. first i kinnda struggled with a hook. even though it is N, it still has a closed face at the address. but now it is a gentle draw. it also has a great sound. it doesn't have those callaway's TING sound, nor does it have Titleist 975D's dull sound. i personally preferred 975D's dull sound until i found SC N. it is in the middle of them. but it creates that amazing sound of "i got it!" it has an amazing hang time, and an average roll. but the biggest advantage of SC N is that it gives me a huge confidence at the address just like how Tightlie fairway woods had given me a hugh confidence. it's six stars. Customer Service nope Similar Products Used: hawkeyes, 975D, ping, etc. |
