Adams GT Titanium 363cc, 10* regular shaft
Quick, what was the Best of Show winner for new drivers at the 2002 PGA merchandise show? It was the new Adams GT 363cc titanium driver, over the new Callaway C4, over the new Nike driver, over everything else. And believe me, this thing deserves the recognition. This is the NEW Adams driver, not the ST model with the bi-matrix. The head is big, bot gawdy big, and it is literally the straightest Ti driver I have ever swung. Length is excellent, the ball shoots off and makes a crisp, not tinny, sound. But you will be amazed by how straight this thing is. I hit several shots off the toe and lost minimal distance, but the ball still somehow found the short grass. But it is so easy to hit straight, that you won''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''t be finding the toe on this thing very often. More forgiving than Cleveland Launcher, and with new Graffaloy shaft that comes stock in this, it''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s a great value. Adams ST - 10 degree
I have long been a fan of Adams woods and the love affair certainly continues with this fine driver. The club just wants to go straight. I get good distance with a slow smooth swing and if I need extra distance then I can force it. I am not sure whether it is the bi-matrix shaft or the un-traditional head shape but this club feels sweet. It is not as long as the Taylor Made Series 300 but at half the price they are outstanding value for money. Full marks to Banrey Adams and the team at True Temper... |

By far the most forgiving club I''ve hit. I am prone to slice and I find this club almost amazing on how it will hit a ball basicly straight when with other clubs I''ve hit a slice would be present. A shortfall for me with this club is that I lose considerable distance. Even if hit squarely this great sounding club lets me down. The guys I play with have been consistantly outdriving me, which almost never happened in the past. To me this club is a trade off 15% Distance loss for 15% increased consistancy. None I made a second hand purchase of this and 3W at $62 for my sub set a week ago and hit them for a couple of days at driving range and on a course once. The feel of hits by this club is best described as "dead". It controlls the flight well to reduce slices and hooks. It''s shaft has very little torque but takes away liveliness of shot making. I do not think I gained distance compared to my main set driver, Taylor Made 200 steel shaft(stiff)which is truely enjoynable club to swing due to good feel probably given by it''s excellent DM Gold shaft and steel head. I tend to think ST''s idea to combine steel part and graphite part into one is failure by Adams. It is worse than both a steel shaft and a graphite shaft. I guesss the steel part reduced a kick too much for the sake of lowering it''s torque. Very unplesant club to play. Similar Products Used: Never had a clib like this. |

Adams ST Driver

None This is a smooth Driver. I really wanted the Taylor Made 320 but just couldn''''t see paying the 400 dollar price. I didn''''t really want the Adams Driver Because of my experience with the Tight Lies 2 Driver that I still have. I hate that Driver and wanted nothing to do with anything that Adams made. I was trading in my Ping i3 driver and also my Taylor Made SuperSteel. The Salesman at GolfSmith told me behind the TM 320 the Adams ST driver was his biggest saler. I decided to take a chance since being left handed no one wants to let me take a driver out for a spin. I didn''''t need to, this driver is the most forgiving Driver I have ever hit. Drives go long and straight whth minimal effort. You don''''t need to swing out of your boots with this driver, easy swings jump off the face of this driver with authority. I highly recommend this driver. Customer Service not needed Similar Products Used: None |
