Adams Tight Lies ST 10 deg. driver
An excellent driver. Very forgiving on off center hits. Keep the clubface square and you will most definitely land it on the fairway no matter where you make contact with the ball. I purchased this with the Grafalloy ultralight stiff shaft, not the standard True Temper Bi-matrix. That's why the price was low (that's $279 Canadian). This driver got rave reviews, and was way on sale so I thought I'd give it a shot. And another shot. And another shot. And after trying to hit the thing, I just couldn't get the hang of it. I had been using a Cleveland QuadPro Titanium with much better luck and while I probably could hit it farther with the Adams I have no control. And the sound when I hit it is pretty awful... I guess this driver just doesn't fit my swing, no matter how I try to tweak it. Oh well, lesson learned. Customer Service I have heard that AdamsGolf is a good company, but have had no experience with them. I Can''t believe this Driver! I have tried many other drivers in the past but this, this blows them all away. The feel of this driver far exceeds the competetion. In the time I have played with this club, I have gained more cofidence with my drives and more satisfaction with the outcome. I highly recommend this club to anyone who has trouble with their drives. Long and Straight with an easy swing. I can''t say enough about this club. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made, Ping, Callaway, Knock-offs |

This is the sixth driver I''ve tried in four years. This one has all of the qualities I look for in a driver: consistency, forgiveness, distance. I love the bi-matrix shaft and the cobalt blue head. I''ve noticed that Tight Lies generally have slightly shorter shafts which makes me wonder if distance is lost. Oh well, I''d trade 10-15 yards less distance for landing in the fairway anyday. Great club especially for bogey-golfers like me. Customer Service Not used. Similar Products Used: Tight Lies 2; Yonex; Callaway; knock-offs |

I have been hitting a taylor made burner bubble for years now, and then my friend introduced me to the Adams driver. With other drivers there is always that feeling in the back of your mind that you will duck hook one into the woods but with this club i no longer have that fear. I can pull this club out and feel very confident about hitting this straight down the middle. This club is very forgiving and i definetly suggest this club to anyone who wants to hit it long and straight. Customer Service Never Tried Similar Products Used: All of their fairway woods are very good and are able to be hit right down the middle from ridiculus lies! |

This driver hits great. It is very forgiving. I love the strong feel of the bi-matrix shaft. The forged Ti face really makes the ball jump off of this thing. Customer Service Not used to date Similar Products Used: Adams Tight Lies 2 9.5* Driver, Big Bertha |

I bought an 8* driver and a 13* 3 wood and nothing I have hit to date was as long, forgiving and easy. I played today with the clubs for the first time with no driving range practice at all. I tamed the driver with easy and I have never hit a 3 wood so pure in all my days. I drove the green on a short par 4 playing about 285 yards and crushed a 3 wood that just kept goong on and on and on, unfortunately it went over the green, but that just means that I need to buy the 5 wood next! Not the most beautiful driver in the world, but great off the tee. Long and accurate. Even more accurate the my fairway woods. It''s great to be able to pull the driver out every time with confidence. However, the sweet spot doesn''t seem to be dead centre of the club. But great hits even on off sweet spot hits. Customer Service Haven''t tried it. Similar Products Used: Orlimar Hip-Ti, Firesole -adams wins hands down "OH YEAH" |
