Redline 9.5
I felt compelled to post a review after receiving this Driver as a gift. I had heard about Redline driver before but had never known anyone to use it. Well this club made me a believer out of Adams Golf. Used to play my fade with my old driver and line up slightly to the left, now all I need to do is line up like a normal golfer should and swing it normal. Trying to crush the ball makes it a little unstable, but if you have a nice even swing or even a 3/4 swing you will hit the ball consistently 225+ yards. This is a great driver for someone that does not have a lot of swing speed. Similar Products Used: Taylor MAde Ti360 |

Adams Redline RPM Driver (draw)
I never have written a review for golfing equipment but for this driver I had to. I have tried many drivers and still had problems with slices or at my best a moderate fade. Offset drivers didn't seem to help much either. For the last couple years I just learned to anticipate my fade and aim a little left. A stronger grip and a slower swing seemed to help some too. I realize this problem is caused by my swing plane being off track, but since I don't spend a lot of time honing my skills I learned to work around it. NOT ANYMORE ! I read good reviews about the RPM driver and saw it was available with a draw bias, so I ordered one. If you have the problems I've described here (and probably 90% of newer golfers do), BUY THIS CLUB. I've never hit drives so far and so straight ! I can't believe my slice is gone! I've added over 30 yrds. to my drive ! The cheaper offset clubs don't help but the draw bias weighting on the RPM sure does ! This club is awesome. It's a beautiful looking club too. I look forward to my tee shots now. Seriously, If you have a slicing problem and don't have the time to rework your swing, GET ONE ! Redline 460 Ti, 10.5* Fujikura Shaft, R Flext
The Redline 460 Ti has given me an instant yardage gain in my tee shots of 20-40 yards. Today, playing for the first time with the driver, I averaged 250-270 yard drives consistently finding the the fairway. I have played golf off and on for over 25 years and this is by far the easiest driver to hit, once you have it dialed in, I have ever owned. I did take someone's earlier advice and go to the range a couple of times prior to playing 18 holes. This was a great idea, the clubs length is 46 inches and needs some getting use to. Once you have this club dialed in though, you have found a new friend. One other observation, at least for me, is that this club appears to perform better at a slower swing speed vs one that would be much over 100 mph. I have very pleased with the Adams 460* Redline Driver and highly recommend it to anyone with a slower swing speed looking to gain some yardage/accuracy with their tee shots. Due to this being a close-out model there are bargains to be found on e-bay, $100.00 or less. Customer Service I have always found that Adams respond's to all inquiries, either by phone or e-mail. Yes, they do answer their phones with a "live person" that is nice and helpful. |

Adams 10.5 Deg Redline 460
I got a great deal on this driver so I bought it mainly because of the positive reviews on this site. I had been playing a Taylor Made R360XD and my Redline is at least 20-25 yards longer. It does make an aluminum softball bat sound when it strikes the ball, but if it keeps going 280 to 290 straight down the middle who cares? I recommended it highly especially for the $99.99 I paid for it from RockBottomGolf. This is the second Adams driver that I have owned and both have been quality products. I have always liked Adams drivers but I just can't get used to the sound of this driver. It is a good driver, the equal of my TM R580, and just as long if not longer than the TM. I paid only $110 for the Redline, a great value. I never thought that I would chose not to play a driver because of the sound it makes at impact but that's the case with the Redline. If I did not have my R580 to fall back on, I would probably play it and maybe eventually get used to the sound. Redline 10.5* Fuji 60gm Stiff
I got my driver off Ebay for $150AU. I could not beleive how forgiving this driver is. My old driver was a copy with a 75gm Stiff Aldilla HM2000 shaft, I have had it in the bag for 4.5yrs. It took me a couple of holes to appreciate that you don't have to force this thing to get good distance. I was hitting it just as far if not a little further at times, but without the amount of effort I had to give to my old driver. I am very happy with choice I made. If you are looking for a new driver and can't spend the big bucks, this driver is great value for money. Adams Redline tour 8.5
This is an updated review, i first bought this club with an aldila nv-65 in an extra stiff flex, while i thought i could handle the stiffness it turned out when i got setup on a launch monitor it was to stiff, so to get a higher longer and straighter ball flight, so i replaced it with a Penley stealth 70 which in turn is great. This club is now performing great. Before buying any clubs i would reccomend getting setup on a launch monitor, it will really benefit you. Now the club performs well, i like the high pitched noise it makes when i really rip one, yet it is fairly forging for a club that is completely square. Take a look at this club you won't be sorry! Adams Redline Tour 8.5
I recently switched to this driver from a Titleist 983k, i must say that the launch angle is fairly hig for the low loft, but the sweet spot is much smaller on this club than on the 983k. I hit this club about equal distance but control is very hard to come by with this club. i cut the shaft down to 44.5'' and that seems to work. i would recommend this driver to anyone who has a solid swing with a tight budget! Redline Tour 9.5 Stiff
I compared the Tour club with the 460cc Redline and there is quite a big difference especially for a high handicapper like myself. Sweetspot is smaller and it is difficult to hit draws. Fades come naturally with my normal swing. Though not as forgiving, distance is still there and I get more roll. Launch angle is improved when I use a wider stance and limit hip movement. What I like though is the feel and weight of this head. Solid hits are sweet and not as loud as the 460cc. |
