Great driver, looks good, feels good, sounds good and get plenty of height. I do not have the weights, so I am playing it set with neutral weights. No problem shaping shots. Got it on ebay, new for under $90 with an Aldila NVS stiff shaft has a higher kick point than Aldila NV to get more height on the ball. Excellent value.

Model Reviewed: Adams Comp Dual 10.5* Aldila Proto Buyou shaft

Wanted to try one of these since most of the guys on the senior tour play them. I picked one up cheap on Ebay. Less than $200 brand new. I'm a strong player so I set the weights up for a fade. 12g on the toe and 2g on the heel. I also put some lead tape on the toe for a little more fade and a strip of lead tape under the grip for stability. I kill this thing and hit fairways. I can aim down the left side of the fairway and swing hard. It usually cuts anywhere from 5 to 15 yards or goes dead straight. No lefts at all which is very important for competetion. Ball flight is high but boring. I choose to play a 10.5 degree to hit more fairways. I hit a 9.5 longer but I'll sacrifice a few yards for lower scores any day. Club has a great sound at impact. Kind of muted which I like. The shaft is 45.75 inches. I would prefer 44.5 or 45 at most but no big deal. The Aldila Buyou shaft is a nice shaft. Provides a boring ball flight. The headcover sucks. Not long enough and doesn't fit well. They could have done a better job. I will switch off between this driver and my Taylor 460cc with moveable weights. Both are fantastic drivers and very straight. Give this Adams a try you won't be disappointed at all. It's as long as anything I hit and straighter than just about them all....

Model Reviewed: Adams 460 Ti - Low Profile

This is one of Adams newest designs and I cannot find it listed on this websites categories.... so I am putting my review here.
It apparently is to compliment their Low pro fairway woods (cannot wait to try one of those now).

I have been swapping and changing drivers like the 'wind' trying to find that elusive 'one'....... IS THIS IT ??

I HAVE HAD IT A WEEK NOW (3 rounds of golf)AND IT IS TOTALLY AMAZING !!!!!!!!!

Having bought it for under £100, I assumed it would be an average but decent piece of kit, but AND IT IS A BIG BUT, this has amazed me.

At 9.5 degrees and a standard regular Prolaunch shaft it really is long ... very long.As an example, yesterday I hit 12 out of 14 fairways all in the 255 yard range - now my normal drive is approx 230 yards and the 2 guys I play with are consistently longer than me - but yesterday I was up and passed them almost every drive.

(why do posters here say they hit it over 300 yards when tour players average 275 ????? )

I had a Sasquatch but sold it as I found it to stall mid-flight and thus lost distance, but I liked the Low profile look of the club - the Adams has the same Low-Pro design, but it flies high and long without any attampt to stall and drop.

I would imagine the Grafalloy Prolaunch 65r shaft has a lot to do with this superb trajectory.

Mis-hits seem damn good too! Maybe only dropping 15/20 yards on the drive.

Recently I have used the Nickent 3DX;MAC Powersphere; Bang Bangster; Makser 440;Ping G5; Nike Sq ... and always felt each one was good and helping me - but on the evidence of this week, The new Adams blows all of those away !!!!!!

Please, please go to Adams website and check out the details of this truly superb Driver - it is I feel, revolutionary in its Low Profile design.

Guys and Gals,

Let me just say I have played it all.... g5, 905, ft3, comp, hibore, launcher 460, r7 etc etc. I play to a low handicap and can play any of those drivers just fine as long as they have the right shaft. However, the holy grail seach continued because under pressure driving is my weakness and I like the rush of getting a new driver. After every driver It always had positives and negatives. After reading the comments Dana quigley had to say about his adams 460d. I had to give it a try.....Last I checked dana is not sponsored by adams and has no club sponsorship. I picked one up new super cheap. This is the straightest driver I have ever hit , period. I was hitting high fades then tweaked the movable weights and was hitting it straight. I would have NEVER thought I would be playing an adams driver but I always said I would try anything if it would translate into distance and fairways. I know, I know there is a honeymoon phase but there is something diffent about how easy this driver is to hit. Anyway I give it a perfect 10 out of 10 something I have never done before with a driver.

I purchased the 9.5 adams dual with the NVS 65 in regular. I played one round with it and was diappopinted. Not because it wasn't long but because I could hit it very high. I hit it straight and longer than my Taylormade R510TP but too low. I couldn't figure it out, so I traded it in for a 10.5 degree and the NV 65 regular. I normally play stiff shafts (swg speed ~103mph) but wanted to try the regular since some of my friends are playing Reg shafts and hitting by me. My 1st impression is this Adams has something here. I hit it straighter then my G5 (w/NV65 Stiff) and just as long. I've played with the weight several times but I'm not into that. I have it set with draw (7g and 2g). Compared to my ping G5 its about the same in length, but I can hit the Adams in the fairway more than the G5.

Model Reviewed: Adams 460 Dual 10.5 w/Grafalloy ProLaunch 65 Stiff

Adams 460 Dual 10.5 Graffalloy ProLaunch 65 Stiff review. Dual adjustable weights and composite crown head with all Titianum face. I have a 95 MPH swing that is fairly steep with a quick transition at the top. This club fit's my swing great.

I hit 50% (7 of 14) the fairways with only minimum range time. (Average 49%) However, I missed three more by less than 3 feet. I drove the ball 10-20 yards farther than my previous drive a Ping TiSi 10 UST ProForce Stiff.

The club does hit lower than my Ping. Could have gone with the 11.5 for a litte more height. The Graffalloy ProLaunch is a little more firm than the UST ProForce but seems like it will be a better choice when I really go after one. I have not attempted to adjust the weights yet as my swing is 7-10 degrees closed according to the launch monitor and I was looking for a neutral head. This head is neutral and sets up great. Most misses were right today so I going to get use to the head before attempting to play with the weights.

Looks like the Ping in finally back up.

During my course's demo day I had the Callaway rep. using a launch monitor fit me with this shaft on a Fusion 10.5 tour head but cost of driver ($375) was to much for my budget. Saw this special for Father's day on the GolfSmith site. Just reduced to $199.99 with 15% off if ordered by Father's Day.

Customer Service

Have use their customer service before and Adams is top notch right up their with Callaway and Ping.

I also have this club in 10.5 with an NV65s shaft. It is not the longest driver I have but it may be the straightest, good swings carry about 235-240 down the middle. I play it neutral and put a little lead below the grip and above the hosel as the NV65 is a little light for me. It gives a nice low boring trajectory for me and it my "windy day" driver now. You can't beat the price $95 new still in plastic on ebay.

I just got this driver today and just got back from the driving range. I am impressed! I bought this driver on eBay then I read the reviews. Most of the people were disappointed in this driver. Of course there is only about five reviews on this driver right now. But I read one reveiw where a guy said he had the Aldila NV Shaft and loved it! Well, he is right! I have that shaft in mine. I went out of my way to find this Redline 460 Comp Dual head with the NV shaft after doing some research and it is a perfect match!! It is was accurate & long!! I love the address! I have mine set for the draw bias! I have been playing Cobra drivers all my life. But now I may get rid of my F/Speed. I beleive this one is a winner & may be longer!

Customer Service

Don't know, Bought it on eBay.

I love this driver, like the reviewers before me said it is very accurate. I get great distance out of mine though, maybe they needed a different shaft me personaly I don't like the graffaloy blue and thats why mine has an Aldila NV. I like the way the face looks at set-up and with this confidence I find myself making smoother better swings. I would recommend this driver to anyone.

I decided to try this since I was thinking of replaceing my TaylorMade R-580. I tried this club with graffaloy prolaunch shaft, stiff,,, I could not belive my disappointment! could not feel the head position nor where the ball impacted the head, distance was about 20 yards shorter than my R-580, I shoot in the high 70's-low 80's and my best drive was about 260 with this driver. It is very forgiving and it would be a club for those in the high 90's and higher but I could not reccomend this to anyone with a handicap of 15 or less.
