Played the course on August 15th 2016 - the course in desperate need of "help", that said the greens were bad but playable, for the rest of the course - stay away. Such a pity since the layout is great.

I played this course in early September, and I was horrified at how bad this course looked! Greens burnt out & hard as rocks, tee boxes of sand & gravel, fairways that looked like farm runways, just awful! Trees overhanging tee shots, unorganized and absurd cart path rules, sprinklers on in the middle of the day, I could go on! The only good news is if you dropped your golf shorts and took a dump on any of the greens, it would be more maintenance than that green has seen in 5 years! Customer Service None. Zero. Zilch. At the end of the round (5 + hours!) I complained at the desk about the condition of the course and got some awful excuse about a mistake by the greenskeeper! "Sorry dude, no refunds!" Ouch! Never again Similar Products Used: Parking lot at Stop & Shop, farm pasture in Woonsocket, Neighbor's dog doo covered backyard. |

I cannot believe some of the reviews i have read. It is difficult to find a golf course that has an entire parking lot full of cars and expect a 4 hour round. All you 10 handicaps and above are just pissed because it takes you 6 shots to get to the green. This is a challenging golf course from any tee markers. Besides the slow greens and patchy rough (in some areas) it is a great place. Go to another public course around and you wont find better staff either. Great people, challenging course, and the other players there are great. got paired up with a lovely couple who happened to be great players which made my experience that much better. Customer Service A young man named Mike was one of the most professional gentlemen i have come across at a golf course. He looks to be about 20 years old and he sounds like he is the owner of the course. I have played here a few times and he is by far the nicest and most professional member of their staff. Some of the other staff is rude, loud, and bombastic in their speech. I dont appreciate being told to not to drive my cart over boulders in the woods like I am some kind of vandalist before i even play! |

One of the most horrible golf outings of my life. WAY OVERPRICED - course isn't worth $20 a round let alone $60. Greens were in decent shape - fairways were horrid rough was scarce- bunkers were the worst I've ever seen AND MY LAWN AT HOME LOOKS BETTER THAN THEIR TEE BOXES!!!!! Customer Service The only thing positive about this place was the people. The course sucks. Similar Products Used: None. I could chase my ball in my backyard and find better taken care of grass. |

There are some terrible reviews here...wow. I haven't played this course at all until last year and I have to totally disagree with the comments below. Maybe it's changed a lot in the last 5-6 years?
Customer Service There is one loud, fat guy in his 50's who works there and is a jackass. I've never had run-ins personally, but I've heard so many stories it's laughable - they should fire him immediately. Everyone else is a gentleman and they have hot girls working the food stand. The head pro Greg Dowdell is a class-act and very good at what he does. Similar Products Used: Wentworth Hills: Plainville, MA

I have played there five or six times. Mainly with friends who play there often. The layout is excellent. The roughs are long and difficult to score out of. Stay in the fairway here. The greens are like putting through fairway. They cannot hold a line, they are hairy, and difficult to enjoy to putt on. The fairways are in ok shape with many divot marks. The tee boxes are mediocreat best. Many of them are 50 percent sand with nowhere to place a tee. There are many nice employees and many who do not belong in a golf setting. If you get there and one of these inadequate people are working, leave its not worth the money. 72 dollars is a joke. it is a 45$ facility at best. maybe 50 on a weekend if they can fix the greens. the carts are nice now i remember when i would have to wait 20 minutes for a half charged cart and get it replaced after nine holes. the people who work outside the clubhouse and the people who work at the snackbar are generally polite and knowledgable people. but watch out for the other staff because they will make your round a hassel. slow rounds are the norm. but all in all, bring a 5 wood to putt on the ball mark covered greens that are burnt and hairy. and watch out for the overall rude staff. i would not pay 80 dollars to play there but i my friends play nowhere else after getting the new membership that half thr state got. too many members and you cannot get a tee time on the weekends. but if you have 80 dollars to throw away then go for it. |

I got the half off deal from 98.5 Sports hub radio station. So it only cost me about $45 with a cart to play this course that was usually $80+ (on weekends) to play and if I had to pay $80+ to play here, I would had walked off the course after the first hole. Greens were slower than putting on a rug. Honestly, it didnt look like it was cut. None of the bunkers were raked. We had an 8:11 tee time and the pro shop said that they were running on time so we get on the tee @ 8am and there is a 2 some that gets to go ahead of us. Then 5 minutes later there is another 2 some that gets to go ahead of us. Why didn't the starter stop this? Because there was not one! Customer Service Guy at the pro shop acted nice. Only interaction I had with staff Similar Products Used: Kettle Brook, Cyprian Keyes, Green Hill, Wachusett, Blackstone National, Blissful Meadows |

What a dump. Too bad because it could be a nice course if they put some effort into it's upkeep. Lack of distance markers will drive you crazy- too much guessing needed on how far you are from the green. Customer Service It's 95 degrees and humid- and all the water coolers near the tees are empty! Similar Products Used: Driving Range- $7 for a bucket- good luck finding grass to hit from. |

WARNING !!! DO NOT PLAY this course under the current management. This is a great layout owned and run by a group that should not be in the golf business AT ALL. This group only wants as much of your money as they can get. They will then go out, find and bully your group on the back nine...many times falsely accusing you of slow play so they can squeeze more players on the front. This has happened to me on two occasions and I will never return until the current group sells out. BE PREPARED to have your round ruined by a thoughtless manager/owner who doesn't deserve to be in GOLF at all. Customer Service Absolutley abissmal in every category!!! This is the worst I've ever experienced at a golf course. Similar Products Used: Driving Range - $7.00(Large) for a medium sized bucket. Many golf balls in poor shape, about one third not worth hitting. Very few useful yardarge markers for a good practice. |
