Oakley Overdrive Low Shoes

Oakley Overdrive Low Shoes

DESCRIPTION

Most golf shoes are fine for chipping around the green, but not for the 7000 yards of a par 72 course . Supple leather is braced with a textile saddle and strategically vented with screened ports for breathable comfort. The instep and heel geometry stabilize the foot as it rides on a bed of shock-absorbing urethane. Anchored with a quarter-turn, Oakley self-locking spikes are ready for pro tour terrain. Due to the additional waterproof breathable membrane in the golf shoes, we recommend buying a full size larger than your street shoe size.

with out question the BEST golf shoe I have ever owned. THE most comfortable shoe to walk in the early morning dew. GoreTex is awesome. They were very stiff to begin with but once broken in they just got better and better. As others have mentioned why do companies stop making something that they have succeeded with. I fortunately bought an extra pair before they were discontinued. the run a 1/2 size smaller for me.

I agree with the other review, BY FAR the best pair of golf shoe I have ever owned. Fit like a glove and durable. I wore these 7 years. Didn't want to throw them away but couldn't repair them any more. Traction was great in dry conditions and even better in wet conditions. Please Oakley bring these back from the grave.

Why is it when find something you like that the company stops making it? NIKE did it and i had to find a different shoe. This is by far THE most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Who cares about how they look. Golf is not a fashion show. it about shooting a low score. And with these shoes i never have to worry about my feet.
I really wish OAKLEY would bring this shoe back. GORETEX,COMFORT, and wearability. Again, if I could by 10 more pair I would and i would never buy another pair of golf shoes in my life. as far as sizing goes I think they r about .5 over. The same as nike. but everyones foot is different.

Okay they may look different but if you are a walker the comfort is worth it. I debated between these and those bite shoes everyone says are good. I'm glad I chose Oakley. I first tried them on the RTJ Trail in Alabama. I now have 2 pair(black and white, all black). I have had these shoes for 3 years and they are still comfortable. I will probably buy the new ones they make now. IMHO, if you can get these on sale give em a shot!

I've never had to use them.

Not your father's golf shoe! I searched all over for a golf shoe that didn't look like I was a 100 years old In my early 30's I wanted something that didn't look like tennis shoes, nor had the look of an out of work tap dancer and stumbled upon these Oakley's. Sadley to say this model has been discontinued but Oakley actually makes a cheaper model now. But I must say these are the most comfortable shoe I've worn. They breathe well, look stylish(in my opinion), and hold up well no matter what you put them through. I just hope I can find a pair on Ebay or some place that still has stock on these when I wear them out. I've been using these for the last 2 years and so far so good. If you have a chance to pick these up on clearance I'd say you can't go wrong. They might not be for everyone, but for me the best golf shoe I've owned period and I have 2 other pairs from Footjoy and Nike that have not seen a course since I bought these.

Beware! The look is deceiving! I was the very one who tried difference and deeply disappointed in the end. Overall design is bulky, not as sleek and slim as shown on their website. They will look huge when you address a ball as if they were some kind of hiking boots. Do not rely on oakley's instruction of buying one larger size than your normal size. Simply, it doesn't work and oakley will not take responsibility on their info. If you are still insisting to take a risk, please go to the retail store(Good luck! you might have to take a vacation to find one)who carries their shoes, not the sunglasses, and decide which size to buy. Go for the tradition. Buy Footjoy or Nike. Having said all that, I won't be the oalkey customer any more. Please remove my name from your customer list, OAKLEY.

I wanted a shoe that was a little crazy with out being weird. I saw that Oakley was making golf shoes. So, I decided based on the great quality of their sunglasses to try the Overdrive. It has been discontinued, so it was a little cheaper than the $160 advertised. I wore them for the first time this weekend, and I must say that despite feeling a little heavier in the hand than my Footjoy Dryjoys, they are extremely comfortable and stable. They have a lifetime waterproop warranty, which based on the construction of the shoe, I am sure I will not need. They also look great.

Customer Service

Oakley has always had excellent customer service!
