Nike TW Last
You guys are too generous with your ratings for Nike shoes! In a nutshell, they suck big time. I will give them 9/10 for design, maybe 5/10 for comfort but for durability, only 1/10. Ok I bought the TW series with Goretex thinking,"hmm... the last pair of Nike I had was the low end pair, that explains its lack of durability" Well, surprise surprise, the TW version did not fare any better... the sole came off, i sent it for stiching. Then the sole cracked and the spikes dropped off!!! unbelievable. Plus their waterproofing on the leather sucks too. Now that TW is not using their driver, I guess they should just stick to making golf socks, pants and shirts. Forget about equipment and shoes! Everytime I know a friend of mine who is in the market for a pair of golf shoes, i always tell them to give Nike a MISS. Speaking from experience Lah.... Customer Service Unfortunately, I stay in Singapore, if I am in States, I might get some kind of recourse... Similar Products Used: Footjoy Contour - Absolutely comfortable and the spikes do not trap too much turf. I am a FJ convert for now. |

Nike Air Zoom Tradition 2
I got these shoes for Christmas and they are the first pair of golf shoes I have ever owned. I tried a few pairs before I recieved these including a pair of Etonics and the Nike Course Air. I found those two in particular to be very tight on the feet. The Air Zooms on the other hand were perfect. I have used these for every round of golf I have played this summer (I play at least once a week) and have found them to be very easy on the feet. The q lok soft spikes provide sufficient grip on all surfaces and are a snap to remove. They are very comfortable shoes and have proved to be great in all sorts of conditions including rain. They are also quite good looking to boot. I have a brown pair which look great. So far they are holding up quite nicely and the only signs of trouble are some scratches on the toe of the shoe. I am even surprised that the thin flimsy looking laces have held up. I have no problem recommending these shoes for those tackling 18 holes of golf. |

None Great comfortable shoes for walking but they leaked after 6 months. I returned them thinking it was a defect and upgraded to the Air Press with a 2 years waterproof warranty. Same thing, it leaked after 7 months. Similar Products Used: None |

None These replaced a pair of DryJoys that leaked prematurely. FJ was reluctant to replace them, so I vote with my wallet. The TWs are great. They are extremely comfortable and look like pair of dress shoes. I purchase the wing tip (black) and split toe (brown). After these, I will never buy a pair of FJs again. Customer Service I have not used customer service Similar Products Used: None |

Very comfortable shoes, but I'm disapointed that they got holes in the sides much sooner that I would have expected. Similar Products Used: None |

Comfortable but way too heavy... I liked them until I walked 36 on one day. They felt like they were lead lined. Do not purchase if you like to walk. Similar Products Used: None |

Very comfortable (like most Nikes), durability is good. Don't (DON'T) buy these if you play when it's wet. Their 2 yr waterproof warranty is a joke. I tried three pairs before I gave up. I kept thinking they were defective. I play at least twice week 9 holes in early morning and after the first month they leaked every time. I have just switched to Footjoy Dry Ice and so far no leaks but have only had them for a month. I will never try Nike golf shoes again because of their customer service. I gave low rating based on Nike's customer service. Customer Service HORRIBLE customer service. If you think I may be exaggerating pick up the phone and pretend you are trying to return a defective product. You cannot speak to a customer service rep, only leave voice prompted message for a return authorization form, then when they mail you the return authorization form you can send them the shoes (they say if you send to them without it they will refuse deilvery), then they wait six weeks, replace the defective shoes but will not answer a short note. Ever since my surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon in late 1998, finding a comfortable golf shoe has been even more important. Similar Products Used: None |
