I'll start out by saying that I NEVER write/post reviews. These shoes are sooo nice that I felt I had to share with those consumers that are out hunting for a new pair of golf shoes. All you need to do is try them on and the comfort speaks for itself. Just played my first round in them last weekend and they were flawless on the course.

I've been a Nike and Addidas person for the past 8 years and let me tell you that they are amateurs compared to Footjoy. No comparison.

Can't go wrong with this model

Best pair of shoes that I have tried out. Shoe comfort is very important, and nothing beats a good waterproof shoe. These are the best bang for the buck. Very comfortable, and very affordable. Usually for 100.00, you just can't beat them.

I just bought my second pair on E Bay ($23 plus shipping, lucky deal) to leave down at the condo in Mexico. I've been walking 2 seasons now in the first pair ($51 on E Bay) and really like them enough to write this!
Pro: Lower price than Tour grade shoes and traditional good looks with choices in leather color. Speed-lace eyelets are improvement to snug up Right the First Time!
FootJoy's Q-Lok spike system makes sense so change them 2x/year - Soft Spikes wear quickly when you hoof it!!!
Cons: No gusset in tongue for those really wet mornings, but hasn't been a real problem. Extra sock in the bag don't take much room, a lot less than all those beer cans some of your "golfers" carry. (No, not you!)Also, the toes on these tend to scuff fairly easily, so keep your drive in the fairway and don't spend too much time beating the bushes for your buddies lost balls if you can help it (:->)

I walk 98% of the time, unless carts are mandatory I rather walk. I notice that after 18 holes on hilly course my feet hurt and after I got out of the car from the ride home I was stiff. Then I tryed these Footjoy Contour's which I bought on sale at the golf mart. Wonderful shoe, I replace the insert with "superfeet" and could be happier. Honestly I wish I could wear them all the time, they are that comfortable. In November I went into Golf Mart again and they were closing them out so I bought a second pair. The first ones are white and brown, I've changed the spikes on twice and they still look like new. I just wipe them off with a damp towel and put shoe trees in them and throw them in the back of the trunk. Outstanding shoe. Confortable and they haven't borken down like so many golf shoes do after a few rounds.

Have been using my current pair for 2 yrs now and they are great. They broke in after 18 holes and have been a perfect fit every since. I haven't immersed them in water but I have played in a few FL. rainstorms in them and my toes stay dry. I paid $80 for them and I would do it again. I will definitely buy them again. That is if Footjoy still makes them when they wear out.

I bought these one year ago and have played about 40 rounds in them. I walk about 40% of the time and often play in wet conditions. After all this play, the shoes are in tremendous condition. Extremely comfortable and very affordable. Excellent choice

I had a pair of Reeboks that I thought were the most comfortable golf shoe there was. Unfortunately the sole started to come off after a little less than a year. Sun Golf sent them back and gave me a store credit. I gave this shoe a try and I will never look back. These shoes are great. So comfortable and pretty good when wet as well.

I researched and tried on at lot of shoes before purchasing the Contour. I would have bought a pair of Bites but could not find any available in my size anywhere in the US. I waited a while to post this review, but it looks like I made a wise choice. I have about fifteen rounds in them so far and these are by far, the most comfortable golf shoes I have ever owned. Comfort- excellent Stability - excellent Durability - great (so far) Water Resistance - excellent Looks - traditional (in a non-traditional shoe) What more could you want in golf shoe? I may look at Bite again next time out, but I will have to feel like taking a risk not to buy another pair of these.

Bought these shoes 3 weeks ago and they are awesome. After the usual 'getting used to' phase of about 2 days they certainly appear to be all Footjoy claims. The cushioning is sublime and the soft spikes are great. They really do offer the comfort of a 'runner' and the traditional look of other models. Simply a great shoe.

I am relativly new to Golf, I play for my highschool team and had many problems with hitting because it rains quite abit and we play everyday for 5 hours a day and my Vans weren't cutting it. As soon as I put on these shoes I knew they where the ones for me. There more comfortable than any regular shoe I have ever owned. When hitting with my other shoes I sliped a large amount, but with these I was slipping much less and it improved my shot quite a bit, also I don't mean to be rude to the other shoes but all other golf shoes I looked at your extremely ugly and these where by fare the best looking. Some might take that with a grudge but what do I know im a teenager, all I know is my feet arnt nearly as sore as before when walking courses 5 hours a day 5 days a week and I hit much better with them. And to me that deserves a 5 Star.
