ECCO HYDROMAX II VELCRO GOLF SHOES
I have been so far purchasing either Footjoy or Adidas Golf Shoes. This year hearing about the reputation of Ecco, I decided to buy the BLACK ECCO HYDROMAX II VELCRO GOLF SHOES SIZE 44 on 31/1/09.
Customer Service Absolute Rubbish... Took a long time to answer my complaint and then no offer of help in any way whatsoever Similar Products Used: Adidas and Footjoy |

Ecco Classic
Very stable and comfortable. I'm a walker and after 18 holes, my feet feel just fine. I'm glad to see that Ecco is now making golf shoes. The most comfortable golf shoe I've used.It would be nice if they lowered their prices a bit but that's what you pay for quality. Customer Service OK Similar Products Used: Footjoy, Etonic, Dexter |

Ecco Gore Tex
This follows up to a review I wrote earlier regarding non-GoreTex Ecco shoes. I bought this pair of Ecco shoes last summer (my 4th). Sadly, things did not go so well. By the second hole, this pair started quacking as I walked in them (that is quack - like the sound a duck makes). I returned them the next week to GolfDom. GolfDom sent them to Ecco for repair or replacement and told me I'd have to pay for the shipping (which annoyed me as I've spent a lot of money at GolfDom). What really annoyed me was that it took all summer before I got my shoes back (replacements) - at least GolfDom waived any charges, nice of them. Between GolfDom and Ecco - it was a horror story. Once I finally got my shoes - they worked about as well as the non GoreTex versions. Customer Service See above, I'm not happy with Ecco service. When GolfDom realized that I had a problem, they went out of there way to make it right. Similar Products Used: Most popular brands - lots of FootJoys. |

I have three pairs of Ecco shoes now. They allow me to play golf without getting sore feet. I've tried most of the others and still have many pairs of FootJoys. I still wear FootJoys on occasion, but they hurt my toes. The spikes need to be tightened before play - at least the first time. I found that out the hard way, losing half a dozen spikes the first time I wore them. I think they come from Europe with funky spikes that need a special wrench - the dealers have to change them to American spikes and something goes haywire when that happens. But a small price when they make the difference between comfort and sore feet. Customer Service Who knows? Similar Products Used: FootJoy, Nike, Adidas |

Casual Apron GTX
These are flat out the best golf shoe I have worn. They are comfortable right of the box, have snappy European styling that doesn't look like every other saddle show out there. They provide exellent support, particularly against the rolling over of the left show that has given me problems in the past. They are relatively easy to find online, but most retailers have them drop shipped dierect from the manufacturer, which takes time. I have only one complaint: For this price (and there is a price to achieve a shoe this good), ECCO should have gone to a performance spike like the Softspike with the FastTwist system. Mine shipped with spikes with small threads, and after two rounds I was missing a spike on each shoe. For $180, I don't want to break an arm twisting the spikes into position before every round, but I'm guessing they will fix that soon. Believe me, I have tried just about every decent show out there, and these ECCOs are the best. Customer Service Not tried yet. These shoes have great support and don't tend to roll over on the heels after you have walked a few rounds. They clean up easily, look great and really are comfortable...and are dry! Similar Products Used: None |
