I purchased these shoes based on the reviews that I'd read here and everywhere else. I have one thing to say........THESE SHOES ARE INCREDIBLE..... I had a pair of Dexter Dry Sports that I had for at least 3 years or more. They had gotten to the point where I would feel the spike digging into the ball of my right foot. After 10 holes or so my feet were screaming "Get these thing off of me" After checking into the manufacturer I found a great deal on these shoes at everyone's favorite auction site and decided to give them a try. The Crazy Fogey is Bites spikeless shoe. Don't let this deter or hinder your thoughts about getting a pair of these. Traction isn't a problem at all. I have played with these after a solid Texas thunderstorm. I didn't slip once because of the shoe. The comfort level is amazing. I was hitting balls at the range and was getting ready to leave. I sat and talked with a friend in the parking lot for 10-15 min. we said our good byes and I turn to get into my car......I still had my golf shoes on. When I had the old Dexters the 1st thing I would do is take them off. I have put sneakers on after and round and have noticed that they aren't as comfortable. The other cool thing about the crazy fogey is it's style. Bite has had love em' or leave em' styling in the past. What I like about this shoe is they aren't your cookie cutter typical saddleback shoe. They have a great casual style. As past reviews have stated these are discontinued but they are a complete joy to wear. I actually look forward to putting these shoes on. I am now a huge bite fan

My feet used to give out after 12-13 holes. They would hurt so bad I could hardly walk. I bought these 12 months ago and don't even think about my feet when I'm playing. Will never buy another shoe.

I ordered a pair of the brown and black fogey bites on ebay for 78.00 for both(included shipping). I have played in both pair now and Ive got to tell you, these shoes are vey comfortable. I also am 6' and 200lbs and have more than average foot movement, so I was concerned about grip. They actually have better grip than my nike shoes. They do run aliitle wide and have a large toe box, so if you have a narrow foot watch out.I dont think Ill get as many rounds out of them as a good footjoy or nike but for 39.00 a pair who cares. comfort--10 for 10. style8 for 10. grip-10 for10. If you can buy these cheap, do it.

Very, Very Comfortable. Broken-in from the get-go, I played 36 holes (riding), the 1st time I played in them. These don't have conventional soft-spikes, but the traction is great. An Excellent Shoe, from a great company, I'll go back to Bite when I need another pair!

Very comfortable and very waterproof. I played 27 holes in a light rain and my feet were the only part of me to stay dry. Large toe box makes them very roomy, a bit heavy, but overall a cutting edge golf shoe.

Customer Service

Called and left a message and received a return call in 15 minutes.

Super comfortable. Good style. Wear well. I have a pair of FootJoy Sierra which are also comfortable, but they've been relegated to the closet.

Customer Service

I sent them an email and they responded in less than five minutes...very fast.

When I wear my Bite golf shoes I feel like I'm in a special cult club, or something. It's usually, 'Hey, man, I see you're wearing Bites.' I always respond with something like, 'Yeah, me and Alice Cooper.' Which says something about the kind of person who is willing to depart from the traditional golf garb. Bites are it, they give me a good platform and they're different. If there is a weakness in design, it would be the soft spikes. Certain designs don't seem to have as much grip as others, but that's really up to the golfer. Go, Bite!

The shoe felt comfortable from the moment I put them on. Large toe box and a wide supportive sole are the key features. So comfortable that I often wear them to and from the course or range. The Fogey is a saddle style with soft cleats.
