I know this may sound like hodge podge, and that's exactly what I was thinking about this ball. The TRUE Tour ball offers a softer feel and a tiny bit of loss in distance. I have heard that this ball was a bunch of hype and "just a great marketing champion". So I played a few days ago as a walk-on and it just so happen the guy with whom I was playing with hitting the TRUE Tour. So after a few holes I asked him how he likes them, he promptly responded with a "Try it yourself" and hands me a sleeve. I won't lie a ball is not magic doesn't correct miss-hits and won't make you Tiger Woods but I did manage to shoot a 71 with four birdies. Oh and I almost had a hole in one on a par three 189 yarder, it hit the pin and darted three inches left. I noticed that it had a better feel and response with my chipping and putting. Off the driver face seemed to be a little bit more muted than I like. Overall very happy with the control of this ball. I would recommend at least giving them a try, worth looking at.

I have literally tried all the balls out there on the market. I have played the Pro V1, Nike TA, Nike TA TW, Strata TU & TU 2, Precept Tour Premium LS, Maxfli A-10 & the Wilson Staff True Tour. I must say that for all around performance speaking from Tee to Green, the Wilson True Tour comes out on top. This ball has very good distance, no difference with all the other top balls, has a very nice trajectory, great durability and definitely one of the best putting balls out there. But what I really like about this ball is it sticks the green where you hit it. I am very accurate with my irons and this ball neither hops forward or spins back. It hits, hops once and sticks. I am very impressed with all facets of this ball and will continue to play this ball for the remainder of this year. The putting hype aside, this is one of the best balls on the market!

This has to be one of the best short game golf balls on the market today. This ball does it all, an outstanding putting ball, great on chip shots, pitches and distance wedges. I am an avid reader of Dave Pelz and those who think that a balanced ball does not make a diffence need to read his putting bible book. If you are looking to improve your short game look no futher than the wilson true tour. Forget about switching clubs try a new golf ball

Whoa Nelly! Great ball - spins a ton. I am going to try the Distance version next. This ball spins way too much for my game. Tested this ball by marking and spinning in water versus Rule 35, Pro V1, Nike TA Maxfli A10, etc. Wilson's claim is valid, although how much an "out of balance" ball will affect play I don't know. Anyway, I am going to continue playing the Wilson True... Distance that is.
