I agree with the other who have reviewed this. Soft feel, decent spin and more than acceptable distance. I hit my old 3 wood 275 off the tee with I can,t believe its not butter ball. Great ball for any price, only drawbak they do scuff a little. Customer Service never used Similar Products Used: Ultra Balata, Wilson Ti Spin, Top Flite 2000 spin, Professionals ect. ect. |

This golf ball is great VALUE. I played and loved the Wilson Smart Core Spin Distance. Since it's now discontinued, I have tried to find a similar ball, and this is it. The feeling is outstanding with both woods and irons, actually softer than the Smart Core. I feel I lost maybe 5 yards with the driver, and the irons played to their true yardage. The spin is about the same as the Smart Core spin distance. The ball trajectory is medium. The softness is amazing without sacrifising distance, and holding greens. It acts like a $40+ per dozen ball. A cheap mans Pro V1. I also got a free sleeve of the more expensive Wilson Staff Pro Distance. This ball feels much harder off all clubs. I thought I'd give these balls a go as they were on special purchase. I was pleasantly surprised by their quality - especially the very soft feel, as noticed by the previous reviewer. A good amount of spin was also created and I could generate drop-and-stop action from mid- and short-irons quite easily. Distance also seemed fair (i.e. normal) seeming to match most moedern two-piece soft ball distances. The ball surface did seem to cut up slightly earlier than normal (like balata's used to) but I found this acceptable considering the low price I had paid and it's not a bad as one or two other soft balls. Putting performance seemed fine in all areas. If you like soft balls and playing with spin control, I would recommend these especially if you can track them on the cheap. VEEERRRY SOOOOFFFT! Very good feel for a 2 peice. Distance was OK, spin was acceptable, but the FEEL, wow! Alot like a wound ball. I had a hard time with the ball giving me any feedback because on full swings, I just couldn't feel the impact. I must say I was very impressed. It was a night round on an executive par 4 course, so I'm not sure about distance, (I hit the ball with my 3 wood longer than the group I was playing with did with their drivers.) but I can't say enough about how this ball feels. It is margarine if not BUTTER! They should call it - "I can't believe it's not wound." I bought the balls out of curiousity, because I had used the Ultra balatas and loved the spin even though it was a hard ball. These are not like the prevoius versions. You sort of swap a little distance and spin for a great feel. Good ball! Putting was good too. Customer Service NA Similar Products Used: All premium balls. |
