Bought these after reading about them through this site. Nice ball with good distance and balanced putting. I thought I wanted to get more until I tried out some Strate Ultimates. I think the Wilson is longer, but the Strata spins more and is softer, which is appealing when the greens get firm. I've been scoring a 92 for the past 6 rounds, and this last round the Stratas took a couple strokes off my game. For the price I paid I'd get more Wilsons, but for a little more, especially through Ebay, I might step up to a better performer.

Tried this ball after finding one on the course. Played it side by side with my Tour Precept. Wilson outdrove it on every hole. Holds the green better stopping about a foot where it landed. Shot 78 with the Wilson ball and 83 with the Precept. Wilson ball more consistant.

PERFECT wet weather ball. At least one club longer on average. Does not spin well, as long as you know that going in, all is well. If the greens you play on are soft and slow, you cant beat these balls!!

This is a fine ball. Very long with great feel AND a great price. I managed to get my hands on some Smartcore Balata Distance balls and I have to say they are as good as these but have that nice soft touch and a bit more spin. Why Wilson discontinued them I'll never know. BIG mistake. If they could manage to get some in a few pro's hands I bet the pro's would play them after trying them out. Come on Wilson!!!! Bring the Smartcore Balata Distance balls BACK!!!!!!!!

Overall a good ball, especially for the price. My biggest complaint is that all you have to do is look at a tree or cart path and it scuffs.

I've only played one round w/ this ball but hit it side by side with my normal maxfli xs distance ball. I have to say softer, spins better and a lower ball flight off the driver but still high on the approach irons, and just as long. I think my maxfli days (10 years) may be numbered unless they counter with an affordable and comparable ball.

Outstanding distance. Reasonable spin for a solid core ball. Doesn't spin as much as a Pro V1, but goes as far for 1/3 the price and consistantly stops within a foot or two of where it lands unless the greens are rock hard or you're hitting a real long iron. Half the price of comparable balls. I found my drives to be about 15 yds longer and my irons to be 5-10 yards longer than other balls I've used, so I'm hitting shorter iron approaches anyway. Only significant drawback is that it's hard to hit short chip shots without resorting to a lob wedge.

This is a very good all-around ball. I really like the feel of it... and the deal I just got is fantastic... less than $15/dozen WITH a free sleeve of SmartCore Spin Distance thrown in at Wal-Mart. At that price you can't beat it. I had noticed some scuffing with the first few, but the ball in question hit the cart path and a tree. I've also noticed some flecks of paint left on my driver, but no more than other balls. Since then they seem to be holding up pretty well. I usually lose balls before they become unplayable anyway.

very consistent ball. and VERY long this is one of the best balls ive ever played because its as long as anything out there. has a moderatly soft feel and will stick to or even back up on most greens with a full shot(the spin is not the best from 40 yards and in.

Customer Service
