I tried to find a cheap ball with somewhat decent feel to it. I tell yah, this ball is not it. It would certainly be excellent for any chipping practice short game practice.

There is brick golf ball and there is a Titanium mix with brick golf ball. That's the Wilson Hyper Ti. I know this because I went through 5 box of these balls. Not sure what Hyper stands for, but it wasn't such a hyper for me.

On rare occasion, I crush the ball 300 with 300 yards drive but I have crushed the PINNACLE GOLD 300 yards down the fairway too. If you're a serious golfer, don't go for this ball. It's not worth your saving.

Got this at Sport Authority for $7.99 a dozen. What a waste for 8 bucks.

Picked a few boxes up from Sport Authority. $7.50 a dozen. Now, anyone who pay at that price for a dozen of balls should expect nothing great come out of it.

And so it is, it is surely useful for practice rounds or a hard nine-hole courses out there. But it's not for any 18-hole round at all.

Driver (Adams Q430) : Sweet Spot feels a little rough but launches right out and rolls well. My best driver is a little more than 300 yard drive w/ slight tail wind and flat level fairway (lots of rolls I bet). Not to brag , because I have an average swing speed between regular and stiff.

3-Woods (Zevo): nice sound, fly straight, and rolls hard. It's perfect for bump-and-run shots.

Irons (Wilson Tour Blade '86):
--> 6 to PW is awesome. Feel solid but not too buttery comparing to the PRO-Vs. Danced on the green a bit but does stop within inches. Never could get it to spin back though
--> 5 to 2 is rough gradually. Especially the 2-iron, feels like a brick even on a sweet solid shot. With 3 iron there are quite some rolls with this ball.
--> 1i (tour edge bazooka iron-wood): horrible, no feel or touch ... off center shots feel

Wedges: no feel or touch around the green.

I picked these up at Sports Authority because I couldn't resist their $7.50/dozen price ($.063/ball). I figured I would use them for a round and then dump them into my shag bag to use as practice balls.

After a few rounds, I have now purchased a second dozen and have replaced my Maxfli Noodles with the Hyper Ti's. They live up to their name and are extremely long and straight off the tee.

The knock on distance balls has always been their feel. These are not as buttery as the Noodles or Pro V's, but I have been able to spin them and they always land with a satisfying thud. Unlike the Noodles and Pro V's, I don't have to toss them after 9 holes because of cuts and scrapes in the cover. These things are indestructible. I hit a drive the other day that slammed into a tree and ricochetted into the fairway with only the slightest mark on the surface.

As a bonus, if you're constantly leaving your putts short, these give you an extra revolution or two.

For the money, this is the greatest ball I've played. Period. Try it!!

Customer Service

Never had to use it.
