The XL 2000 Distance ball is just as advertised. I am getting 10 or more yards from the ball with every club in my bag. I am also getting enough spin to hold virtually every green. An excellent ball for the price.

This ball is medium in every sense (carry, spin, softness) when compared to other 2-piece distance balls. This makes it more playable than most rock-hard low-spin distance balls. I suspect it's target market is budget-minded golfers who think titanium makes a difference.

Recently tried this ball and found it to be fantastic. Goes a country mile of the tee yet still has the soft feel and spin of balata around greens.

These balls are the best value I have found. They last forever and go a country mile. I can spin them a little, however as my score indicates, I'm less worried about spinning the ball and more concerned with getting it in the fairway. It is very easy to get comfortable with these balls.

Model Reviewed: Super Titanium, Excep. Spin

Here are two more hard balls, falling into a long line of hard balls from Top Flite. They certainly offer distance and the Super Titanium does not spin out of control. Personally, I like a ball with a softer feel, particularly around the greens. But this generation of XL balls will be popular with many golfers who can benefit from distance.

Seemed to get good distance off the tees - as long as any other ball I've used. Feel around the greens was OK, but didn't wow me.

These balls are easier to hit straight and they have a softer feel than the Wilson Pro Staff.

The XL series balls seem to work best for me. I can get the right amount of spin on my short game to control the ball where I want, most of the time.
