Over the years I have played all the Top Flite balls. I first found the XL-2000 Exceptional Spin the best ball for me. I then went to the XL-3000 Super Spin and found this ball has a very high spin, much line the XL-2000. You can launch a 5 iron into the green and it will check up with no problem. The only down side to this ball and the other Top Flite balls is the feel. They are a rock! If you can get past that this will be a good ball. The price is right and you don’t need to worry about losing one in the water when you are not paying $50 a dozen. A better ball would be the NXT Tour or the Strata Professional. Although the Strata will shred up when you hit a full wedge into the green.

Super spin is right. I can't tell you how many times I found the divot on the green way behind the ball from where I hit. This thing stops. I hit a 215 yd 5 wood onto a green and it hit the middle of the green and stopped about 8 feet away from where it first hit the green. It's beautiful. I play in Phoenix where the ground is about as dry and hard as it gets and this ball don't let that interfere. The distance is good off the driver. It doesn't sacrifice distance, but it does not add it. I averaged 285-310 with this ball. Iron distance is pretty consistent. Bestt ball for the price. Work on your game with this ball. When you stop losing 5 or so balls a round, then upgrade. In the meantime, this is a great ball without spending a fortune on the premium balls.

Picked these up as an alternative to the Precept Lady. I love the feel and distance of the Lady but grew tired of approach shots skipping off and over greens. As advertised, the XL 3000 Super Spin spins. Anything hit with a 7 iron and lower bounces once and stops dead on the green. This ball is about 5 (mid irons) to 10 (long irons) yards shorter than the Precept Lady and is not as much fun to hit but makes a *huge* difference on shots into the green. Played 18 with 2 balls and didn't scuff either despite some wayward shots through trees and hardpan.

After reading some of the reviews on this site, I decided to get the XL 3000 Super Spin balls. I found 50 mint balls on E-bay for $25 including shipping. I have been very happy with them--hitting them as long as ever, and enough spin to stop the ball on the green (unusual on our hard Salt Lake greens). They do scuff up a bit on crisp iron shots, but for the price, I wouldn't play any another ball.

This ball is the greatest ball for the money! I bought a box of "used" TF xl 3000 and there were 4 of these in the box, and i love them. Soft, ling, and spin great. THe only problem is that sometimes the create to much spin for me, as I am a terrible slicer....

These balls are true to their claim. Super Spin is correct. Only problem with this golfer is I am still working on my swing and produce some side spin on my driver (less on irons). Ever see a drive rolls sideways at impact and run itself off the fairway... I did. I HIGHLY recommend these balls for anyone who can produce non-side spinning drives and shots. They are very nice around the green however. My short irons around the green with this ball stick to the green while a buddy's titleist skips right on by to the rough. Everyone should at least try these balls for $20.

First picked these up for my wife who was having trouble holding our firm and fast greens. I tried them also. Great ball at any price. They are long and they sit down nicely on firm greens. The price is a bonus. I'm never paying $45.00 for a dozen balls again.

(Twenty bucks for fifteen) The greens are getting hard here as summer continues. My NXT Tours were sliding right off, even with high-arced approaches. More spin was needed, and these Top Flites do the job. I get a bit less carry and roll off the tee, but it's a fair exchange for a lot more bite. They're a joy to hit with any club - but do take a bit of getting used to with the putter. These balls don't scuff up easily - although the NXT Tours are more resilient. A good dry weather ball.

If you're a low handicap player, don't laugh until you try this ball. I decided to try it after reading the reviews in Golf Digest. It's a great ball. Goes 15-20 yards longer than the Maxfli Revolution 90 which I've played for some time and really like. Seems to have enough spin for slick greens. Putts the same as the Revolution but has a little more solid feel/click coming off the putter blade.

I bought this ball because I was told that it had a good combination of distance and spin. My ball of choice over the past few years has been the Precept Lady and Laddie. Unfortunately, the Top Flight did not fly as far or spin as much as either of the Precept balls. While the Top Flight is a decent ball for the money, I prefer the Precepts.
