Was looking for a ball that would have some feel, and yet not add too much spin. The XL3000 gave me what I wanted. I haven't tried some of the other low compression balls, but I would recommend this ball to any higher handicap golfer.

Not a very good golf ball. I think Top Flite has a good thing going with their Super Spins, which are long enough for any level player, but also can hold a green for a better player. The super feels are pretty long and you can feel them compress on the club face. However, they seem to generate a lot of sidespin and don't hold greens at all. I played them alongside a Pinnacle Gold Distance and the Pinnacle was as long and MUCH better around the green. I don't often hit the ball real pure, so I often have unwanted sidespin, but these generated a lot more spin than other ditance balls. They often hit the greens off 8 irons and shot to the RIGHT and off the green, where the Golds would hit the green and stop about 5 feet behind the ball mark. They also have a pretty firm cover which makes putts and short chips an adventure. I you want distance and feel at a low price, the Dunlop Locos are far superior balls.

I got to play 7 holes with this ball. It's very long and draws a bit. Nice feel and long off the irons. As good as anything out there and cheap. I'll buy a dozen soon.

Good ball. Ball feels nice, off all clubs. Especially the touch shots around the green. Putts very nice. Holds greens well too. Good length. Definitely longer than the lady. I was playing with someone who plays the lady and they normally out drive me by 5-10 yards, and I was usually 5-10 longer than him. The bottom line is that this is an excellent ball, especially for the money. Can't keep the value.

Soft, resonable long and they don't cost much. What more could a high handicap player want? Price was £16.99 for 12
