No comparison to a Titleist Pro V1 or NTX tour. The XL2000 is a fine ball for average players. But they have a neutral to hard feel and little loft. Since they have been relaced with the XL3000's (which are no better)the best place to find these are at bottoms of water ponds or at yard sales.

In reading every review posted on this site you must be objective. I've been playing for 2 yrs now - used to laugh @ my son for using top rock golf balls. I SAW THE LIGHT! I picked up an XL 2K super tit & was hitting it longer & straighter than anything I've ever hit. No it's not 1 to spin or check up but for length & consistency it's great. BEST VALUE out there. Try 1 for 9 rounds & you'll see.

The XL 2000 with Super Titanium is for golfers who want the feel of Titanium in every shot. It improves energy transfer from the ball to the club resulting in dramatic distance off woods and irons. What a load of nonsense! What the heck is "titanium feel?" If anything, titanium balls I've tried, including this one, have a bit of a dead feel to them - a well-struck ball feels no better than a lousy one. Distance is not this ball's forte either. I found I lost 20 or so yards on my drives compared to a Pinnacle Gold or an XL 2000 Extra Distance or Magna Control. Titanium is a gimmick in any sporting goods item other than bicycle frames and components. How on earth is it supposed to improve anything in a golfball? This is a very mediocre ball whose best attribute is the pretty metallic red box (or maybe the extra sleeve of Stratas that came with the 15 XL2000 Ti's in this pack). Most other balls on the market are longer, straighter, have better feel and are a better value.
