Had free sleeve of these balls. Cracked them open and started hitting with one for a few holes (175 yards to 225 off the tee w/3 iron). Shanked one and lost it. Started hitting a DT Distance ball and was consistently hitting it shorter. Good ball for the money. Rockflight has promo packs right now, 15 XL2000 whatevers and 3 Stratas for around $18. Can't beat it.

Model Reviewed: TopFlight 2000XL Aero-Extra Carry

I was playing with the TopFlight XL2000 Extra Long pretty regularly. One day, on a par five hole, I found this stray TopFlight XL2000 Aero-Extra Carry in a hazard close to my ball. I've never seen this make of TopFlight before so I hit my original ball and decided to hit this new ball from the same spot. My original ball rested about twenty to twenty-five yards shy of the green, the new ball stopped on the green ten feet from the pin. I've been playing the Aero Extra Carry ever since. I truly believe it alone has enabled me to reach more par five greens in two than any other ball I've played. Give this ball a try, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Excellent ball for a mid-handicapper. I love the feel (in my opinion, not a hard distance ball) around the green and it does go far. I've been told it is being discontinued and I picked up several boxes for $17. These are the ones I now use on a regular basis.

long and straight..although not the longest ball i've hit. but once on the green; the feel and feedback you get is worth whatever money you pay for them. one of the best putting balls ever. should be able to buy for $21.95 to $24.95.

Not impressed. Played okay. Not as forgiving as others and putts so-so. Expensive for performance and difficult to find.

Model Reviewed: Topflite AERO Ball

I got my first ever hole-in-one with the AERO. I shot my lowest scores with the AERO, to boot. Too bad it's gone because of marketing strategy. It was a ""poor man's STRATA""! I could drive it, spin it and get it in the hole. I stocked up on the close-outs and keep them for when I play the tougher courses. (Titleist is over-rated and overpriced,in my opinion, unless they're paying YOU to play them!) I now play the XL2000-ED and do hit it farther but wish the rules would allow me to substitute an AERO when I pull a wedge or putter out of my bag.

(I don't know about you, but I never have a ball long enough to need service!)
