The Tour Distance is a very long ball.Being a distance ball it is not as soft as the Strata ML Balata I have played. However,it does have good feel for a distance ball.It bores right through the wind with excellent carry and roll!I had preferred the HP2 Tour as my ball of choice.Since they are not making it any longer this is my ball for now.

Love Titleists and this is one of the best. If my game is a little off (and when it is I tend to push the ball), these can be a little hard to control because they actually have quite a bit of spin. But overall a very good ball. Good feel around the greens too.

I have played the Titleist Professional 90 for years and was very happy until I popped open a sleeve of these. The combination of added distance (10-15 yds per club), control and feel has lowered my average score from the high 80's to the low 80's on a consistent basis, and consistency is the key in golf to shooting lower scores. I've tried other balls but this ball has all the right combinations for players of all levels

I've recently returned to golf after an approximate 14 year layoff. I've been concentrating more on accuracy and developing a good swing, rather than distance and power (for now). I started using Top Flite X-Outs and was pretty happy with the balls for the price, although with X-Outs you get all different models of balls. I've been looking to find 1 ball that I could use and get comfortable with. I tried the XL2000 Magna Control and liked it very much, although it is a hard feeling ball. Then, I moved on to the Strata Tour Professional, very nice ball, great feel. But, it tended to spin too much for me and I would get exaggerated fades. T'was a shame because I really liked the feel of that ball, it spoiled me! Next, I moved on to the Stata Distance, as I wanted a ball that would go straight, go far, and I was hoping that it would also be soft since it was in the Strata family. It's a very good ball, goes far and straight, but still, it's a distance ball and is somewhat hard. All I wanted was a distance ball, that would fly straight, give me decent distance, but one that had a soft feel. I read a ton of reviews and checked out all of the ball manufacturers web sites. I saw the Tour Distance and it seemed like what I was looking for, a ball that gives good distance, flys relatively straight, and has a good feel around the green. I think that finally, I have found the ball that I have been looking for! I bought a sleeve of 90's and 100's and tried both today. I really, really like the feel of this ball. The 100's seem to fly straighter than the 90's (in my opinion) and the feel is very nice around the greens and during putting. I think I'll use the 100's during warm weather and use the 90's when it's colder. Also, my impression was that this is a substantial ball, it felt to me that this was a better quality ball than I have ever hit before. All in all, I'm very happy with this ball. It is high quality, goes far, fly's straight, putts very well and feels soft around the greens. As far as price, I don't think that these are any more expensive than any other quality ball out there. You can find these all day long for $29.95/dozen. Strata's are the same price, and a lot of other balls are much more expensive. All in all, these are the best balls that I have played so far, and are reasonably priced for the quality. In the future, I may move to a pure spin/feel ball as my skill improves, but for now, these are the balls that fit my game and skill level. If you've been looking for a ball that gives good distance, flys straight, and that also has that nice soft feel, you may want to give these a try. What a great ball!

All balls have compromises; this one has some of the fewest. Excellent length, yet a good soft feel on the greens. Durable; I get quite a few rounds out of a ball. Great prices for recycled ones from web-sites. I would prefer the Professional 100's, but rationalize the price of this one better.

I ahve always been a fan of the Tour Distance so I was anxious to try the new model that appears to have the core and windings of the Professional done at a 75 compression and with a more durable cover. I may have had too high expectations because I was disappointed, I preferred the feel of the old ball. The new ball is OK but had no soft feel that I could discern. I also did not think it hit any further or felt any better with short iron play. It is not a bad ball but personally, I liked the feel of the old ball in the 90 compression better. I actually thought this ball belt hard when putted.

The golf ball is great, it has a soft feel and very good distance. It has ideal spin(little) for the driver and feels like you are in control with the short irons. With the driver it is far and straight, with the irons its accurate and lands soft and stays.

Longest ball I've ever hit. Stays straight, not easy to work. Spin is average, better for soft greens. Putts roll straight & true. Pretty expensive also.

This is a wound ball with 2-piece distance. Spin and softness are moderate. Liquid-filled, wound balls are slightly more temperatur sensitive and go out of round quicker than soled core balls. With so many good double-cover performance balls out there, I don't really see the point of the Tour Distance. It's pricey.
