to bad taylormade are taking these off the market, you can't go wrong with either model, but i have been playing the tour model and this ball will elevae your game. this ball will jump off your driver and will give you great distance, the ball will give you a soft feel off the irons. from 110 in this ball will land soft and check up on the greens. your putting touch will probably increase. my opinion is buys these before there gone.

The reason I decided to try these is because of the price. I got overruns with practice on the side. They were $8 a dozen. You can't beat it. This is a very good ball. Not very long though. It has great control and a soft feel to it. It didn't last that long. I almost got 18 holes out of one. all in all, a decend ball.

Well, I bought these balls at my local shop because I always wanted try them, being a TM fan. They hade bagged logo overruns (the balls say "practice" in very small lettering on one side) for $10/doz, so I bought 6 or 7 doz, since that's ludicrously cheap. I have used up about 4 doz since March (I play 36-54 holes per week), and I have to say I really like them. They don't do anything spectacular, but they fly a good distance (and pretty straight) and feel nice off the putter. They don't spin much into the green or check up on chips, but they are very predictable. My complaint is that the cover scuffs way too quick (2 holes on avg). I would say at $35 a doz they are not worth it, but they are as good as anything out there at $20-$25/doz, except the Srixon Hi-spin, which is awesome at $20/doz!! It appears that there are more of these logo overruns on ebay, and my shop still has bunches, so at $10 a doz I will keep using these unless I am playing a course with really hard greens. A good ball, especially for mid-hi handicappers looking for a forgiving ball with good feel. Value rating reflects retail price.

I like this ball, I seem to be getting more distance than with some others I have played. I got a dozen for $20 at Sam's of all places. I doubt I would shell out the regular price of $35 a dozen. The cover did tend to cut a little more easily than other balls I have played. On almost every drive I was picking bits of cover out of the grooves of my driver, and always on my short irons and wedges. I didn't care for the shiney logo on this ball.

A ball with a very soft cover and the most elastic core inside. Exceptional feel throughout all 14 clubs. Blasts off the woods and never rolls out of the green when hit with irons. Not sticky like Titleist Professional yet never pops off the club face, so the trajectory and the roll are very predictable around the green. All these brought down my score from high 80s to low 80s. The ball seems to be exclusively "made" for me. It's also surprisingly durable as long as it doesn't hit trees, rocks, or cart paths.

The price seems a bit stiff, but it won't drop as long as Pro Distance is in competetion with Titleist Tour Distance. (although the former is clearly superior)

OVERRATED! Nothing special about this ball at all. Average distance, average spin, average durability. What am I paying for, the ability to drop my sleeve in a fish tank? Save your money or buy any of the dozen better balls out there.

Very expensive ball for no seeming improvemnt in feel. Ball travels a little lower than I would like, especially on the approach shots, but they feel OK. Would be good if they were about 1/2 the price

Customer Service

I had a customer service problem and e-mailed them. It took them about 3 weeks to reply to my message - I think that is very very poor response. I run my owm business and if I took 3 weeks to reply to all my messages I would be eating out of the dumpsters by now

Common sense tells me that a straight distance ball flight is best. The need to "work" the ball only arises after you've gotten into the trouble a "high spin" ball can cause. Taylor's InerGel Pro Distance achieves the impossible. A long distance ball that really flies, yet feels BETTER than any other ball that I've ever used (except the other EnerGels which feel almost identical). Putting is fantastic, as is stopping on the green. I'm shaking my head at some of the other reviews -- were they playing the same ball or what? I hit a FULL swing 8 iron square into the equator of the ball and COULD NOT see ANY mark whatsoever. The ball lasts for SEVERAL rounds -- I've played 5 or six rounds on some of mine and they STILL LOOK NEW! THEY'RE GREAT!!!

I found one on my course, and it was in good shape so i decided to give these a try, I wasn't disappinted! These really go far, spin fairly well, and putting with it isnt too bad either. They go farther than my usual strata TP, but spin less and dont feel as good, stick with the strata TP or Rule 35, I'd recommend these to a novice player, who needs a long straight balll, but doesn't want to be swinging at a rock.

Advertised as soft with plenty of spin. I have not experienced either. I have been playing the Maxfli XS Tour and they are every bit as soft feeling and they hold the greens way better. To go along with the lack of feel and lack of spin I get the added benefit of a cover that shreds twice as fast as any ball I ever used. Now thats well worth the $38.00 price tag.
