Srixon Z-UR
After reading Golf Equipment Review for 2005, I decided to purchase Z-UR's instead of new Black Max, Bridgestone 770 or new Strata. I am constantly looking to replace my long-term Top-Flite success with a Top-Flite length ball with better spin characteristics. I played Z-UR last evening and it appears to be every bit as long but does not hold the green any better than Top-Flite. Based thereon, I will have to look elsewhere in my continued pursuit of the ultimate distance/spin combimation ball. Customer Service Not Applicable Similar Products Used: Top-Flite 3000 Super Long and Super Straight, Callway HX Black, Titleist ProV1 and ProV1*, Pinnacle Exception and Gold, Titleist Tour Distance, Wilson Hyper-Ti...everthing else. |

Srixon Z-UR
Very firm with explosive distance. Plays about 10 yards than its own UR-X. Really jumps off of the driver and checks up very well with scoring irons. Seriously improved durability over the UR-X as well. Great ball for higher swing speeds. My new ball of choice for 2005. If you like a butter soft ball with great distance check out the AD-333. Customer Service If the rep is any indication, great. I have no idea how customer service will help with ball issues (are you going to call them when you duck hook one in the woods?) Similar Products Used: UR-X, both Pro V's, Nike Ones, HX |

Tried one of these for the first time today. Very impressive. Seems to be Srixons version of the harder tour ball for high swing speeds. Although I felt like I didn't put a good swing or make good contact with the driver, the ball went way out there, as long as a solid drive with other balls. Looking forward to seeing how far these go with a solid drive. Off the irons this ball had a great feel and and awesome ball flight. It was crisp but too hard off the putter. Greens were just cored so couldn't tell spin or control characteristics. I've heard it isn't quite as soft as other balls but is definitely longer. I have been playing the pro v1x lately and this ball feels very similar, but longer. Also very durable. A big improvement over last Srixon ball, sure to be a big hit with lower markers. Also reasonably priced. All round as good as any ball I've hit, will stay in the bag, especially when greens aren't too hard. |

This ball is absolutly stunning. Overall better than Callaway Hx Tour. I hit it about 10-15 yards longer the Caly. This ball has a nice high ball flight that i abosoutly love. I noticed better control witht the scoring clubs, probally due to the less spin. It has very similar to the HX arround the green, however is just dosent check as much on flops(i generally bump and run it so it dosent matter). In my mind this is the best ball of 2005, so take advantage of the technology. Customer Service I dont know? Similar Products Used: Hx Tour, Pro V1 X (my 2 balls from the past 2 years) |

Srixon continues to impress me with it's products. I just received a box of the z-ur's from ebay. I proceeded to tee up the ur-x and z-ur for comparison. After hitting both, I felt like I put a better swing and made more solid contact on the ur-x. When I walked up to them, to my surprise the z-ur was 15-20 yards further! This is an awesome ball. The cover seems more durable than the ur-x, while the feel is somewhat harder as well. This ball simply explodes off the driver and seems to go forever. After I finish off the remaining ur-x's I have, the Z-UR's will be my ball of choice. Once again I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a high performance golf ball, as well as an alternative to pro v1's, bridgestone tour 330's, or callaway hx tours, nike one, etc. Srixon has done it again-period.
