Started the season with these balls and yes, I agree with the other 2 reviews here that the balls seem to be a little 'tender' and have a tendency to lose a little skin on a good crisp iron shot. However, these balls are very very good and as playable as any ball on the market. This Srixon spins, well executed iron shots will land and stop. Each round I played, I went through at least 3 balls. You have to understand, though, I cannot stand any blemishes on a golf ball, so for the sake of vanity I reach for a new ball, sometimes even when it's not neccessary. Besides, I can never recall playing the same ball an entire round... Bottom line, this is a 'players' ball, players expect to change balls every 4 to 6 holes and put the old ones in the shag bag. The HRX - 333 is a great ball, good distance - soft feel - workable. Similar Products Used: Nike One Black & Platinum - Precept U-tri & Extra Spin & Tour LS and almost all but never a Titleist |

Tried a sleeve of these balls and was impressed with the distance. I have been using Pro-V1's and Pro-V1x's religiously for two years now , but the Srixon's just don't suit my game in terms of feel , spin , etc. I also thought they were rather expensive. I guess I am just used to the Pro-V's & I think I'll stick with the Pro-V's because I personally feel that they are the best ball out there. Customer Service Never used. After reading their advertisements and contacting them (Srixon) by email to ask several questions, I decided to go ahead and give these a try. I was told they were going to be softer than the Pro V1X: They weren't I was told they were going to be longer than the Pro V1X: They weren't I was told they would spin a little more than the Pro V1X: They dont They do feel ok, but there is a bad problem that I noticed immediately. I hit a crisp 52* Cleveland CG10 wedge and had huge gashes in my ball (it was in the grooves). Another well struck wedge a few minutes later had curly q's all over the ball. Spend you money on the Pro V's and leave these to those across the big pond. Customer Service Don't Know Similar Products Used: Pro V1 Pro V1X |
