I really like this ball. If you still find it stock it up. For $20 you get an equal to near equal of anything out there. It doesn't scuff so it lasts as long as you can keep it out of trouble.

I like this ball a lot. People are saying it is shorter than the Pro V, but I never pay that much for a dozen balls so I wouldn't know. I do know that it is as long as my distance balls. I haven't had to change clubs because this is a "tour" ball. The ball spins with your short irons, but it won't spin off the green. It checks very nicely on the shorter chips, and it's a controlled chip so it doesn't do anything unexpected. It is very durable for a Urethane ball as well. I have played a Pro V before and this U-Tri is much more durable. Almost as durable as a distance ball.

Great ball for value (Precept always makes a good, cheap, durable ball that spins).

U-tri tour
I have been playing both Titleist ProV1 and the U-tri Tour over my last few rounds. And I have noticed some differences. First, I think the ProV1 is a little longer than the U-tri, and without doubt spins more. But the u-tri stays white and scuffs less, doesnt lose any significant amounts of distance, and due to less spin, tends to fly a bit straighter than the ProV. All in all, I think the U-tri and ProV are actually quite interchangable. The U-tri would be a better scoring ball on days when your ball striking isnt at its best. If you get your balls for free, then be indifferent between the two. But if you pay for them, definitely use the U-tri. The ProV1 does not justify the price differential. |

This is THE best ball I've ever played. I have (because of my curious nature) tried EVERY single ball available to me, and have FINALLY founf the ball that meets every single criteria. This ball is SOFT, spins well of the short irons, not a lot off the driver and putts WONDERFULLY! It also does not scuff very easily. I could very easily play 36 holes with one single ball. Trust me, give it a GO! |

The u-tri tour is currrently selling for $50 Australian a dozen. This ball is as long as the lady diamond or other distance two piece balls. But importantly, it is great around the greens. Very responsive with great spin and feel. For only $10 more than two-piece balls, you'll be a mug not to get the u-tri. Your scores will drop significantly given the better feel around the greens |

Well, the previous reviews on this ball are very accurate, but I'd like to add my perspective. This is the best value in golf! Period. The ball now goes for $14.99 per dozen at Dick's, and is every bit the class of ball as the Pro V1 or the Callaway HX Tour 56. It scuffs less than the Callaway, spins better off wedges and partial wedge shots, is as long as a Pro V1 and costs a third of their price. What's wrong with this picture? It is a Gof Digest highly recommended ball for 2005, it has great feel around the green, especially for such a long ball. It's only downside, to me, is it's average-at-best length off of a wedge. This is substantiated by the testing results at the golfballtest website (as well as its prowess in the other areas, like wedge spin and driver distance, etc.). Anyway, go spend $15 at Dick's and get a top tier ball. The risk/reward factor is good on this one. i was impressed with the reviews I read here and decided to try them when I found them at about US$24 a box. I'm not a great player so I end up losing about 6-8 balls per round. The first thing I noticed was that I was only losing 1-2 balls when I switched to u tri tour. And it is because they have much less sidespin even on my bad hits. Later, I found them at a pro shop at US$20 a box and bought 3! will be using them for a while now... |

this is an excellent ball. good feel, distance off the driver, great spin and controloff irons and wedges. feels great off the putter (2-ball Odyssey). the cover is durable, only scuffed badly when i hit a tree or cart path with it. the price is probably about right, not too high, but not so low that they're gone when i need to buy new balls. the only ball i've liked more was the Maxfli A10. this ball comes close, and blow away ProV1s as far as feel, distance, control, and definitely price. this is my go to ball for now.
