Picked these up because of the really good sale Academy had on them. I usually play a more premium ball and walked in to buy some Pro V's but at $11 I decided to give these a try. All in all I feel this is a very good 2 piece ball. My driver distance is not exceptional, but acceptable. Accuracy off the tee has been consistently good, with most trajectories being mid-high. In truth however, I did hit a couple of more penetrating draws that ran forever and produced exceptional distance. Average from the tee 270 (about norm for me) but the occasional 290. Curious about the difference, I set about experimenting. This ball likes to be hit with some pace. Go ahead, long and flowing with a brisk tempo, a pleasing "thwack" and you can see it bore through a little better than if you take something off. Irons - nothing exceptional, but I did notice some not so favourable distance with long irons. The super soft is longer here, but I suggest it's my general phobia of long irons that's more at fault than the ball. As to be expected, this ball is adequate around the green but doesn't spin as much as it's big brother the TA, and it's too fragile cover gets scuffed quick. Summary- Good two piece ball and for $11 GREAT value. This one likes a brisk tempo, step up and hit it. If you wanna' a two piece ball for a more flowing swing try the super soft. This ball was recommended to me by nike's golf fitting feature on their site. I have to say that this ball doesn't do anything particularly well. It has a harder feel doesn't spin very much, yet doesn't go particularly far. For example the Callaway HX-2 piece red would offer at least as much green holding, a softer feel and go much farther off the tee. All and all I feel this nike ball is nothing but junk. I had been playing Stratas for some time when I found this ball in some rough. I started playing it near the end of the round and liked it so much that I immediately went out bought a dozen. This is a great ball! Very long and accurate and easy to stop softly on a green. If it would help my putting I'd probably marry it. |

Probably the best all around ball that I've played. I find it more forgiving on drives than some of the more premium balls while retaining workability around the greens. Customer Service None Similar Products Used: Everything |

Great ball. I have been trying all the mid-level balls lately. This ball has good distance, boring trajectory, and good stopping ability on the greens. Definitely not a crazy spinner, but good for a 2 piece ball. The best thing about this ball is it's accuracy with all clubs. Stays on line very well. Customer Service Haven't had any problems. WOW! what a big difference from Top Flight Balls! I have been wanting to try out Nike's for a while now, and wwell, i will be swithcing completly to them. This ball has added 20 yards to my game, yet has also improved my short game. I even sunk a 15 footer-the first time i have ewver done that! Thank you nike for the freat ball! Customer Service Why? its a frikken ball that you try to tear the cover off every time you hit it!!! Similar Products Used: Top Flite XL/2000/3000, Callaway Rune 35 Blue, All Strata's |

I received a free sleeve of these balls from some online marketing and research firm. I waited until the 10th hole to try them and WOW! I love the feel and distance of these balls. I got 260 yds out of my driver (which is at my limit). I loved the feel of this ball too. It wasn't like butter, but, it was soft without being too mushy like some others (Lady Precept, Wilson LoCo). I can't comment too much on the spin rate 'coz the greens were pretty soft the day I played these balls and most all my approach shots (the good ones) held the green very well. I'll certainly buy a box as soon as my current stash runs low. I like it much better than my usualy Precept Tour Advantage (softer and longer). Just gotta' find out about the green holding power!
