I love this ball. Especially for @ 2 doz for $25 at Sams Club. Super long and great feel. Not a rock at all in fact if I didn't know better I would say it was a softer ball but the cover is very resilient. I am not having any problems stopping the ball dead on the green and am even backing up shots on occasion. It feels verynice coming off the putter as well. I bought 10 dozen and plan on playing them exclusively at this price.

I received a gift of a dozen Nike Power Distance Super Far golf balls today and decided to try them out this afternoon. I'm a short hitting 15 or 16 handicapper, but my game isn't as bad as my handicap would seem ot indicate, IMO.

My regular ball is the Nike Tour Accuracy which is a fine spin ball. I wasn't sure how well I would like this "distance" ball, but after playing it today, here are my impressions of the ball.

Distance: Probably a few yards longer than the Nike Tour Accuracy.

Accuracy: This is probably the strong suit of this ball. I believe that due to the lower spin rate, this ball held the line better than the Nike TA ball. It probably kept me in the fairway a few times or in the first cut of the rough on hits that might have put me in the deep rough with the Nike TA.

Spin: The lack of spin off my irons and around the green on chips and pitches is my biggest complaint about the Power Distance ball. If you are a player who likes to have your short irons check up and stop quickly, then this is not the ball for you. OTOH, if you are a player who likes to "Pitch and Run" the ball, then this ball works well in that role.

Feel: In spite of being a "distance" ball, this ball was not harsh or hard feeling. It didn't feel as soft as the Nike TA balls, but it certainly didn't feel like some of the "rock" balls either.

Durability: I used two of the Power Distance balls today and hit a wide variety of shots with them. I didn't lose either ball and I believe that if they were cleaned up well, you would have a hard time telling them from a brand new ball. There was no scuffing or shredding that I could detect.

Putting: No complaints at all. The ball rolled well and stayed on line. I had ZERO three-putt greens today. The ball felt good off the putter....... not too hard and not too soft. Distance control off the putter was excellent. Maybe I was just having a good day putting.

MY SCORE TODAY: I shot 40 on the front nine and was 5 over par through the first 7 holes on the back nine before we got rained out. I don't usually have a problem with the last two holes so I probably would have ended up with about an 82 for my final score. That's a good score for me. Perhaps I was just having a good day, or perhaps the ball had something to do with it.

It is sort of funny how I came across the Nike Power Distance Super-Far golf ball. I was playing a round of twilight golf the other day and after we had finished a hole, I found one of these balls. Thinking nothing of it, I shot the next hole with it and WOW I felt like it out performed my Nike One platinum ball. Then next day I played a 9 - hole par 3 with it and was 3 under for the day. Knowing how much the one-platinums are I expected to pay the same for the Nike Power Distance Super-Far; however to my supreise, they were less than half the price ($15 U.S.). I think you can imagine, I bought quite a few of them.

i was pleasantly surprised by this ball. i purchased a few dozen with my college's logo to play at a rival school's course. this ball has good feel, goes long and spins nicely off shorts irons. it's no premium ball, but still a good choice if you like a softer feeling less expensive ball. it has a soft feel off the putter face too.

This is one of the best balls on the market. I am so suprised that these balls are only 15 dollars. Usually when balls are that cheap you expect them to be crapy. But these balls are every thing but crapy I get long distance off the tee and the balls are soft around the green. To me they are good as any Pro V 1. But its better for me that they are so cheap great deal.

I won these balls in a putting compition! They go super far and are pretty soft. Not much effort to blast this ball 200 sumtin yards. They stay locked to the ground when putted (no yips) and are sweet off wedges. Not a whole lotta spin but wo cares!

This ball has definitely surprised me. I started the summer playing the Titleist Pro V1-X ball. While this ball had plenty distance off the tee, I found that on approach shots from 90 yrds in, where you really have to hit down on your ball with a wedge to get it to hop and stop on the green, I could play 3 or 4 holes before having to change balls because I broke the cover of the ball I was playing with. Now thats all fine and dandy....IF you are not paying $65 Canadian for a box of 12 balls. Since the Pro V1-x is one of the most expensive premium ball, I decided to spend the rest of the summer trying different brands of balls that would get me the same performance as the Titleist but at a cheaper price and perhaps last longer as well. Tough thing to accomplish. The Callaway HX Blue and Tour came close....but they still broke after a couple of holes. Finally! There is the Nike Super Far Ball. For $20 Canadian, this ball is phenomenal. In fact I would pay the same price for this ball as I would the Titelist. Long off the Tee, Soft on Approach and resilient outer cover that I can play 18 with. If you are in the market for choosing a ball for next season, definitely give this ball a try. I do not that that there will be too many people that will be disappointed. Hope this review helps.

This ball suprised me. I is long off the tee, does not feel like a rock, does not ballon up and lands fairly soft on the greens. The suprise was the price $15-$19 doz. for 90-95% of the premium balls is worth it for me. It flies farther than the NXT, Noodle, Mojo, Strata UII and many others.
