I enjoy this ball, especially for its price, good distance off the tee, doesnt spin too great but will stop on greens. And as per the last review that some guy wrote about this ball about its slice, buddy, its not the ball that slices, its your swing, too bad you cant buy one of those |

I don't know why Maxfli is not actively marketing this ball (at least I can't find it any stores around where I live). Golfsmith still carries it for about $15 (with a $5/doz rebate). I recently purchase 10 dozen AAA used balls on eBay for less than half what it would cost at Golfsmith, so I'm good for a while. I started using this ball when it first came out and it is, by far, the next one I have ever used. It is very long. I've tried the Pro V1, NXT, A10, Noodle & Revolution, and none compare to the XS Distance. If there is a negative to this ball, it's durability. It rarely lasts more than one round. |

I have played this ball for the last two years. Though I don't mind spending a little more for a good ball, this ball is the one I choose. I have fired several sub-par rounds with this ball. Sure it's a little hard, but that's the type of ball I like. I'm sad to see that Maxfli will not be making it in the year to come. I guess it's time to start looking for another ball. It's a good thing I purchased several dozen in the late fall. Similar Products Used: to many to list |

Maxfli XS Distance
This is a first rate distance ball. It balloons less into the wind and is a good performer for a hard ball. I find the ball to be one of the very longest on the market and have had many of my biggest hits with it. Customer Service The rebate check came in the estimated time. These balls are horrible! The XS distance balls are supposed to maximize distance while reducing slice, hook, and ball movement with it's largecore technology and bigger size. Distance is not maximized and dreaded slices and hooks seem to get worse with this ball. With other balls (titleist, nike, top flite) I generally drive the fairway about 300 yds down, anywhere from 265-300. With the XS distance the ball winds up about 240-250 down the course and about 400 yards right. For the amount of time this ball slices across the course I lose an easy 50 yards every drive. I don't really understand the ball since it starts out traveling straight for a good hundred yards or so then just b lines for the trees. I am trying to find cheaper alternatives to titleist balls, and this isn't it. I have to try the A 10s and revolution before I completely give up on maxfli, but for that $ titleist is the way to go. As for the distance largecore balls and all that hype, these maxflis are awful and distance isn't the key to the game so don't waste your money. I won't even mention short iron shots or putting since this ball supplies about as much feel as a piece of brick would. This ball fails in every category. Don't be fooled into buying the cheap - rebate offer balls, you get what you pay for. For other cost effective balls maybe try top flites or stratas, but for performance and play it has to be titleist.
