This is a great ball. Distance and control are there as well as stopping ability. Got a great price on logo overruns at golfball.com. It will be either these or Strata Tour Professionals when I am playing seriously. Just started shooting in the 70's so it's worth it. Similar Products Used: Top Flite Exceptional spin. Well, after trying almost every ball in this "class" of balls, I've discovered something. They're all pretty much the same. I was, however, pleasantly surprised with these Maxflis. I've never been a big fan of the Maxs, but these balls have changed my mind. Finally, Maxfil has put a very nice feel on one of their balls. It carries tremendous spin with it and the most feel of almost any ball. I would compare this ball almost exactly to the Titleist Tour Prestige 90, they're virtually the same, but the Prestige usually costs a bit more. The one thing with the Revolution I didn't like was the durability. It cut up a little bit after a few center-of-the-club iron shots, but they performed well. Like I said earlier, nothin' much new here, because I think most balls in the "feel/spin class" are virtually the same. Bought a dozen of these balls after reading the reviews on this site. Definitely lives up to the hype. Long off the tee, nice, boring flight on iron shots and great feel on chips and putts. Very similar to my usual Strata performance but I feel the Revolution is more durable. Great ball, wish it was less than $36 a dozen. Similar Products Used: Strata, Titleist Professional |

My favorite ball since Wilson stopped making the Ti Balata. Nice soft feel and spin on the greens and fairly good distance. The ball doesn't go out of round like the titleist, but it does tend to discolor pretty rapidly. As long as they keep making this ball I'll play it when I run out of Wilson Ti Balatas. This ball has a great feel to it. Very soft but still maintains good distance off the tee. I would definitely recommend this ball to someone ready to take their game to the next level. I typically shoot in the low 90's however, since playing this ball have shot with consitency in the mid to upper 80's. I would compare this ball to the Precept EV as far as feel goes. This ball probably is the best buy for the higher end balls. It is soft yet the cover holds up quite well and the spin you can get with this ball is quite good. |
