Maxfli Revolution Solid Balls

Maxfli Revolution Solid Balls

DESCRIPTION

Welcome to the Maxfli Revolution Solid golf ball. Extending the success of the original Revolution, the new Revolution Solid ball combines the added distance of solid balls with exceptional feel. The Revolution Solid features a micro-bond layer between its oversized, solid center and soft, urethane outer cover. As a result, the Revolution Solid offers players a premium combination of distance and control. The new Revolution Solid was developed to answer demand for the increased distance a solid ball provides. While giving players the added distance, the Revolution Solid is also designed to give the better golfer sufficient spin for control

Yeah they're hard and not as soft as you wished, but hey, you can get 24 balls now for about $20. They're a lot better and cheaper that buying scuffed up balls out of lost ball bin at your local golf course shop.

Hard, heavy, low-tech ball. Low ball flight limits distance. They do go a long way if you "flush" a drive, otherwise "forget about it". Scuffing is not a problem as I hit several off cart paths with no discernable wear and tear. Would recommend the Top Flite XL for beginners. At least you know then that you are getting a hard distance ball. This one says "soft" but it isn't. Spin is also minimal so it tends to go straight and bounce a lot on greens.

I was pleasantly surprised by this ball. After reading so many bad reviews, I thought they would be horrible. But the ball performed well in all areas for me. So maybe this ball isn't a V1 but it works pretty good.

I am a 12 handicap and have been searching for a good feel ball with some spin around the greens and not bad distance off the tee. I was willing to try this ball as it was on sale. I have to say, it feels like a rock off the tee no matter how you hit it. Distance and durability are fine but it has very little spin on short iron shots into the green. If you are looking for any sort of feel from a ball, this is not the one to play. I felt like I was hitting an old style Top Flite from 20 years ago. Very disappointing.

quite simply: average distance, too hard for my taste. ive never had much luck with spin off the wedges with this ball, but then again i play on fairly hard greens. i do like the way this ball feels off the putter, it feels slightly heavy with a click off the face. all in all if you find them 2 for 20, and your a high handicapper try em out, otherwise forget it, there are a lot better balls out there for the money.

I used to play the old Maxfli Rev balls but I find this new Solid ball a great improvement. The cover is soft enough to get nice spin on the approach while the solid core seems to give "solid" impacts off the tee and super distance. My normal ball is the Pro V-1 392 but I find this ball a nice second ball in my bag.

Like always just when I find a ball I like it gets discontinued. I am not talking about the revolution solid but the NXT Distance. Anyway I am now trying to find a new favorite ball besides the V1's that I love but refuse to pay $3 plus for. I played the solids for the last 3 rounds now and I am NOT amused. The spin off these balls are very inconsistant, they feel like a brick off irons, and they feel like Top Flites around the green. I was a big fan of the old rev's but these s**k. Anyone want to buy a half dozen balls cheap?

no spin. feel is hard as a rock. distance not noticeably different than regular revolution, but you give up a whole lot. may be okay for beginner if they can find them on closeout, but can likely find better bargains.

Don''t know where all the bad reviews are coming from. This ball is a little more firmer than the Revolutions, yet still soft enough to spin on approach shots. Won''t dance quite as much as the Revolution or Elites, but it does stop better than the XS Tours or Precept/Nike Spin balls. Good feel around the green, comes off the putter nicely. Where I use to play either Nike Spins or XS Tours, I''ll start playing these a little more.
