Have played most of the high end golfballs over the years. This ball can match up to any of them. The blackmax has better control then the pro v 1's.They are also 25 dollars cheaper then the titliest balls. |

Having spent years trying to find a replacement to the old professional 90's the best so far was the first Nike tour accuracy. The new titleist don't appeal and play like putty. This, gem however is unbelievable. played yesterday in windy conditions and it just bore's into the wind, 30 past my playing partners. The look on their faces. it's also nice around the greens, drop and stop from pitches and if you need to it can zip back nicely. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed. Great performance. However, my wedge just eat this ball up too quickly. One ball last two holes at most. Just too expensive for me to keep playing this. I like the Precept U-Tri tour better. About the same performance but a bit more durable. |

I am not a long hitter and have a tendency to fade off the tee. These balls are as long as any ball out there and are the first ball I have found that truly reduces side spin (my fades stay in the fairways and go farther) The touch around the green is good, but not quite as soft as comparable balls. This is the ball for anyone who is not dead straight off the tee. The ball holds up reasonably well. It is not meant to bounce of the cart path or trees however. Try the Noodle if that is a problem. I can't give 5 stars on value to a ball that costs 40 for a dozen. Try Ebay where you can get them for about 20-25 for a dozen. I used to play Tiltleist Pro v1s or Nike Ones...but I swithced to all Maxfli balls after playing a couple of rounds with the Black Max ball. These balls spin wonderfully off wedges and irons, not so much that they land and back up 30 feet (like the prov1) and they dont side spin off the driver as much (like the nike ones)--they are just right all around--fairly strait off the tee and awesome control on approach shots....These balls may have only saved me a stroke (if that) per round...but they have saved me 15 bucks per dozen when buying new balls....The only negative thing about these balls is that a good iron player is gonna tear these balls up in two or three holes easily--they are that soft!! A great ball for low handicappers....mid to high handicappers looking for a ball with a soft feel try the Maxfli noodles---they also stick to greens (and occasionally back up) with good wedge shots and are fairly controllable with the driver... I am a golf pro at a local course. I love the Maxfli black max and will use no other ball. It is a great ball with great feel off the tee box and it still has amazing feel on approach shots. It is the best ball i have seen in my career. I would reccommend this ball to everyone with any handicap or playing level. |

This ball is excellent in every way. I bought a dozen of these from lostgolfbals.com and absolutely love them. Off the driver the ball flies far and straght, without too much spin. The ball does sound different at first off the driver but now I think other balls sound strange compared to this one. This ball is an absolute dream on iron shots. The ball feels better than a Pro V1 and performs better as well. On the short irons it is very easy to get a lot of backspin. On a soft green I was able to back the ball up anywhere from 3-10 feet depending on the iron. This may take some adjusting to, but it was awesome being able to do that on par 3s from the teebox. Putting is very nice with the black max, it really jumps off the face of the putter nice and crisp and rolls true. I highly recommend the Maxfli Black Max, especialy at the price that lostgolfballs.com is offering them. The best ball I have ever used, hands down. This is an outstanding ball. It is long off the tee, solid off of the irons and putts very well. Took all of my ProV1's out to sell and put the Black Max balls in my bag. Go on eBay and you can get a dozen for about $10 - $15 less than ProV1's. Similar Products Used: ProV1, Callaway HX Tour, Sxirox UR-X (Another excellent ball) |

Great Ball....... But, I wasn't very fond of the click off the putter. VERY Workable off the short irons. and gets incredible amount of spin on it. Pretty great off the irons. |

This is a very good ball-soft and long. The guys at a local Edwin Watts told my buddy it's 10 yards longer than the new Callaway Tour 56 and Hogan Tour Deep. I was playing the Maxfli Rev Tour(which was a good all around ball-although admittingly not spectaculer, and $10 less than other soft feel premium balls made it a decent value). In addition to the added distance over the rev tour, I have had very good distance control around the greens with my pitches and chips. I have been putting well with the ball too. I think the ball gives the Pro-V1's a run. I've also found it in town for $28.00 12 bucks less than most premium balls, and 18 less than Pro-V1X! I highly recomend you give it a try! |
