Was given a sleeve to use and really liked them. Just bought 3 dozen for 30 bucks at Dick's Sporting Goods.
I was a Noodle guy until I started using these. I believe them to be the perfect fit for someone of my level (shoot in the 90's). Apparently like so many other proven products in the world of golf, these are no longer being made. Probably a "new and improved" model is out. I'll try to buy more of these!

Amazing ball, similar distance off the driver than a pro v1, as much spin into the greens. Is long, soft and goes a mile. Not only that, you can pick them up on ebay dirt cheap at about 50 pence a ball or less. Shame they stopped making them, much better than anything Maxfli have produced since!

I'm buying as many as I can now while there's still some to fish out of lakes and sell on.

Went to the store intending on buying some Precept Laddies and found these on clearance for $8.50/dozen. I had read about tehm in the past and knew they used to sell for almost $50/dozen!

Tried them out and hit the ball really long today. My apporach shots were as good as they have been in a long time. Only put one ball in the water, but at $8.50/dozen, I wouldn't have felt bad if a few more found a pond. They're not Pro V-1's price-wise, but performance-wise, they're every bit as good. Headed back to the store to buy the rest of them tomorrow!

I have been back and forth between the A10 and the Rev Tour all season. I even played an A10 off against a Strata Tour Straight a couple days ago. The A10 has more distance off the driver and irons for me than the other two, but the Rev Tour has it beat for spin on the green and feel off the putter. Golftown was clearing the RT's out for $20/doz, and the A10's for $17/doz...a great deal for either. I would give the Rev Tour the nod as the better all-around ball if you worry about spin and shot-shaping. If you want good feel and distance, but are not overly concerned with spin, the A10 is a great quality ball for the price, although there probably won't be many left to be had new after this season.

I know this may sound like an advertisement instead of a review, but this is one fantastic ball. Grab all you can before it's discontinued. The A10 has a lovely soft feel, with great distance, good stopping power on greens, and excellent control, both off the tee and on the fairway. Usually about $50 per 12-pack, it's now at about $20 at clearance. By comparison, many other balls feel like granite rocks when you connect with your swing. By contrast, the A10 has an ultra-soft feel, but lofts well on chips and pitches, and has that "swing-through" feeling that doesn't give you the fatigue you experience when teeing off with harder "distance" balls. This is a tour-class ball at a great price. With its buttery feel and distance, the A10 provides a whole new golfing experience for those used to hitting traditional, harder balls. 5 out of 5 for this great addition to the game. It'll be interesting to see that MaxFli comes up with to replace this classic ball.

You may still find this ball on the shelves somewhere... if so, then grab all you can. Longer than the ProV (in 2002 Iron Byron testing) and has similar fell with better spin. Feels a little more like the old balatas as compared to the newer trampoline effect feel of most premium balls on the market. Very soft on and around the greens allows you to attack the pin without fear. Highly recommended product.

This ball can get away from you on your driving if you suck (like I do far too often). But if you're groovin' out there, feelin' good, this is the ball you might want to be using. God I hate to compare this ball to THAT OTHER ball (you know what I'm talkin' about). Whereas the the ProV1 does what you ask of it very nicely, this ball comes back and screams, "Is that all you got for me you big creampuff? Come on! Give me you best shot!" And when you do give it your best shot, this ball rewards you far more than any other golf ball I've ever played. Does that make it the best golf ball ever. Ehh, I don't know, it's so subjective and there are so many great balls out there. But this is BY FAR THE BEST golf ball out there for $20 a dozen. Better than the other Maxfli discounted balls. I prefer it over the Revolution just because of the added 15 yards on a drive. I find it putts really well and is great from anywhere 185 - in.
