Callaway Rule 35 Soft Feel Golf Balls perform upon command. Long out of the tees, checks up on the greens, rolls straight and true toward the hole. One amazing thing happened, the last time I teed it up. Using an 8 degree Hawkeye driver, sparks flew off the ball on the drive. Amazing! What's the secret ingredient that they have manufactured the ball with? Lightning!

Previously, I had never been truly impressed by anything other than Titleist Professional, but I like to see what the market has to offer and try new stuff. Hence the Rule 35.

For me, someone who would probably shoot 88-92 if not for my horrendous putting, and a relatively long ball hitter, the Rule 35 is a miraculous ball. No longer am I giving up distance as with the Titleist Pro 90. Rule 35 seems to come off the clubface much more pure. Getting this ball up and down is a piece of cake.

First round I ever played with this ball I hit more fairways and greens than I can remember. Forget the price, the Rule 35 has found a home in my bag.

I have only been playing for six months and have not taken a lot of notice of various balls. Got given a sleeve of Calloways to try and they have transformed my game. I am getting longer and straighter with my woods consistantly and my irons feel better making me more confident with all types of shot. For the first time I feel confidant I will soon break 100 !!

Finally tried this ball after hearing so much about it. To me it feels a lot like a Maxfli Revolution. By this I mean it is soft but doesn't cut. Keeps me on the golf course by imparting less spin. I lose some distance but gain some confidence. I gave them three stars in Value because they're expensive; four in Overall because of distance loss.

These golf balls are horrible. Every time I hit off the tee the would hook. They are nice arould the green but you lose a lot of distance off the tee. I would not recommend buying these balls for how much they cost.

A friend of mine owns and operates a driving range in my home town. After always playing Titlelist Ptofessional and Top Flite balls, he said here try this new Callaway. Wow - it jumps off the club face and what feel. I'm addicted! Straighter then ever and with some added distance. They hold the greens awesomely. I believe I will not become more consistant in shooting in the 80's. Only problem is, is the cost. Ely! your marketing department made a booboo! knocked down to $2.50 a ball in that BEAUTIFUL 5 pack would have meant a faster recovery of the $170 million loss and domination of the golf ball market.

That $16 is for a sleve of 5. I got the ball simply because it says rule 35 on it. ENJOY THE GAME! I got so technical that I was trying to so hard to put the ball in the hole that it was not fun any more. So I got the ball to be reminded that it is just a game. I usually hit Maxfli revolutions and doubted this ball could be as good. To my surprise, I got a lot of spin. Good distance off of the tee and very accurate with the irons. PUTTING, putting is great. It feels good and keeps a true line. Couldn't believe how that little LOGO on the ball could help me relax and remind me that it is just a game. First time I used this ball I shot a 31. 0 Bogeys, 5 Pars, 3 Birdies, and 1 Eagle. If they would just put 12 balls in the package it would be a much better value, but Ely has to make up that $170 million some where.

Model Reviewed: Rule 35 Red

I had tried the Blue before and found it to be a great ball around the green, but not anything special off the tee compared to my benchmark, the Maxfli Revolution.

I recently tried the Red and WOW! what a difference, especially off the tee. I played at the Farm Neck Golf Club on Marthas Vineyard and hit the longest, straightest tee shots that I've ever hit. Additionally, I got a birdie on the #1 handicap hole on the course (3-Wood off the Tee to the edge of the water, 6-iron from 180 yds over the water to 10 feet above the hole, 1 putt in the jar). The ball spins enough off the short and mid irons, but is lower spin off the tee, adding distance and direction!!!!.

I would describe the Callaway Red as a Revolution with less spin off the tee, so I get better accuracy. The Blue is as soft as a Titleist Professional, and still a bit longer off the tee, but not as long as the Red or the Revolution.

The only real flaw is the price, Damned Expensive.

This ball is great off the tee, irons, and the putter, but when it comes to chipping this ball suck, really suck. The red callaway ball has no back spin. now some of you are saying that this guy is suck and cant give it bach spin, well i can and this ball has none of it.I will always stick to this ball, but i have to change my ball secretly when im going to chip. by the way, i know that the blue has more spin but it dosent just go as far.
