I marshall my local course once or twice a week. I get to keep all the lost balls that I find. I've banged about every ball on the market.
Customer Service On a golf ball? What's next, serial numbers on balls? Similar Products Used: I've swung at every ball ever made. I don't play the hard plastic ones anymore since I can drive a nice draw 260 yards on a regular day with a softer ball. |

I found this ball to be hard. It rolled a lot, whichis Great in the fairway, but not good when I tried to get it to stick on the greens.

Well I had to try this ball bc everyone said how long it it. They're right. I got about 15% distance added on to every club. But I got tired of rolling every ball off the back of the green. Absolutely no spin or control on the greens. Shotshapers beware. Distance freaks, buy this ball. |

Not a bad ball. Its launchs off the driver nice and long too. Its not too bad with the irons either but the nxt tour is much better. So for the same price go for the nxt tour |

I'm a huge fan of Callaway products, and the HX Hot is one of many great products they provide. For me, this one is absolutely the longest ball I have every played, but on the down side, not much control on the short game. If you're a player who likes to spin the ball and back it up, this one is probably not for you, but if you prefer to roll it up to the pin, this ball might not be a bad choice. I've got them to stick on the green, but the ball is designed to reduce spin off the driver, and not for short game control. If you grip and rip for distance, give this one a shot. If you can work the ball or like more spin on the approach shots, try the HX tour or 56 instead. In scramble outings, I like to use this ball to put some extra distance on my drives.

I'm a Callaway fan, but I just don't get why this ball was so highly rated by Golf Digest.

This is a rock compared with other top grade balls. If you are going to use it, you are committed to practicing with it and getting comfortable with it being hard feeling off both driver and irons. In a way, it is like using the warbird but hotter and heavier. I found pitching and chipping difficult, usually erring long but the hot aspect did not translate into total distance gained: more like roll making up for carry lost. Customer Service Callaway's ball fitting website does not exagerrate the hot in HX hot but boy does it gloss over hard feel. Similar Products Used: Pro V1s are king but I curently use Dunlop Locos for day to day play. Characteristics are nearly the same but PrV1's edging it in distance and spin. |

The very best feature about the HX Hot is the durability. I used the same ball for 3 rounds. This ball does not scuff as easy as many other balls I have tried. I also find I don't get a buch of sidespin from it, and it feels good when putting. It's a well made ball! Similar Products Used: anything and everything |

long off the driver & nice feel. Putts Ok, maybe a little firm but straight. Does not spin & stick like a Pro V but I play it for the driver. Doesn't hurt when you loose them! |

Flies long, moderately workable and does a nice job of staying on the green without releasing too much. Putts true. What else could you want. It's not a soft feeling ball, but doesn't feel like a rock either. |
