An amazingly performing ball even though i don't qualify for the company line of "above 105 mph swing".... Anyway it's not about the speed of swing as it is about the rate of acceleration through the swing. JUST RECENTLY MEASURED I know my iron speed is 87 mph and my driver swing speed is 92 mph. It's a little firmer feeling ball than the ProV at impact but in all other aspects its as good!Its got enough bite and "drops n stops" as well as the ProV too....and it still looks only slightly used after several rounds of play. Kudos to you, Bridgestone!

Great ball. Very similar to the Pro V1. It is the entire package for distance, feel, and durability.

In case it matters, I'm a 5 handicap which means I shoot in the 70s AND 80s. So yes, I chose "Shoots in the 70s" cuz it sounds better. :) I'm surprised nobody mentioned the durability of this ball in their reviews. Many of today's high-end golf balls are long while provide some good feel and spin. What this ball has over the ProV1x, for instance, is that it is MUCH more durable. Anytime I hit a ProV with anything near a full sand wedge, it's toast. The B330 barely shows the wear. Sure I don't lose that many golf balls but it doesn't mean I have money to burn. I like being able to play with the same ball all round if I keep it in play. Never can happen with the ProV. Even when pulling some "experienced" water balls out of my bag, the difference is noticeable. And old ProV loses a good club of distance off of a mid-iron while the Bridgestone does not. So this ball makes $$ and sense to use an old cliche. Happy golfing my friends!

Wow ... I don't usually pay too much attention to my golf ball selection, but I played a B330 today, and what a difference. Longer and straigher. I went out and bought two dozen.

I really like this ball because it's kind of like a callaway hx hot, with a lot more bite. When I'm chipping near the green I want my ball to bite, but I still want it to release. I love the pro v1x, but it would bite way to hard at the wrong time and I got tired of the guessing game. When it comes to iron shots it's just like any other tour ball, but off the driver this ball is crazy long.

Ok. I am going to deal with the negative remarks first. have you all noticed you shoot in the 80s, 90s, and 100s? Please take note, I am NOT dissing your ability to play. The thing is, the B330 is meant for TOUR FAST SWING SPEEDS, meaning JB Holmes, Sergio Garcia, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and other people with HIGH swing speeds. Yes. I know they don't use the B330. But I am giving you an example of the swing speed NEEDED to make this ball perform at its highest. My average club head speed is 114 miles per hour. Yes, this ball is a tad firmer than the Pro V1, but I actually like that. It comes a little hotter off of the face with green side shots, which is also a plus for ME. Good spin control, I can actually control how much it backs up on a LEVEL green. It actually feels like you're hitting something with your driver, which I also like. I'm a HyperAgressive(You low handicappers know what I'm talking about ;]) golfer so I like to feel what I hit. Yet, it retains its great softness and feel with irons and wedges and the putter. If you don't swing of approximately 109 miles per hour, YOU WILL NOT COMPRESS THIS BALL! go with the B330S or the B330RX. Those are fantastic balls as well. Each B330 is designed for a different swing speed, while the E series is for trajectory and swing speed. First, find out your swing speed, then pick the right ball for you. Stop complaining about not being able to compress the ball, not being able to spin it, and losing distance. It's YOUR fault, not the ball's.

Ordered a dozen of these from lostgolfballs.com on recommendation from a friend and i'm so glad he recommended it. Went and played my home course today and my drives were exploding off the clubhead, giving me a good 15 yards more distance than what i'm used to. I've read that these have players with faster swing speeds in mind, and i fit that category so i can't make recommendations to everyone, but for me, it played well. I got good spin off my wedges; they stuck greens well, gave me all i could ask for. I still prefer the Ben Hogan Apex Tours but for now, this is easier to find, and a good way to go

This is in response to the gentleman below who was complaining about loss of distance with this ball.

The B330 has been designed for the fastest swings, typically 110 or even 115mph and more. There's no way that this ball will give optimal performance if, like most, one's swing is in the 90-100 mph range. If this the case, better try the B330S or even the new B330RX.

I was given a dozen for my birthday. I was looking for a Titleist replacement. I have played the ball for a month and have found it less responsive than expected. Supposedly this ball is a tour ball like the Pro V1. It feels harder and does not stop as well as the Pro V1 or even the NXT Tour I have been using. The cover also scuffs easily.
I will keep looking for a Titlesis replacement or stay with the NXT Tour.

Took the Bridgestone challenge at the Stanford St. Jude tournament this year. They had a booth set up, so I took a few swings. I used their driver, which was nowhere near the same setup as my own, and hit in front of about 50 people watching, so needless to say the test conditions weren't the best. They recommended this ball, so I got on ebay and got some to try. Typically my distance off the tee is 270 to 300, regardless of the ball. I can usually stop any kind of ball on my approaches, so how did I let myself get talked into a spin ball? Anyway, off the tee I was giving up at least 20 yards with this ball, when I am usually the long hitter of the group. My biggest bash off the tee is now only around 260, which is not acceptable for me. These balls peel easily. If I hit a really crisp short iron shot I could expect to mark the ball. They do check up very nice and are a joy around the green, and the putt very well. If distance is vital to your ego or scorecard, you may try another ball. If you can give up a few dollars and a few yards off the tee, and need some help getting your ball to stop, pick up a few and try them out.
